Most likely Clemson
Hopefully Creighton
Georgia
Brigham Young
FGCU
Mississippi
San Diego St.
Central Florida
Illinois - Chicago
Home buy game vs crap D1
11. Road buy vs P6?
12. Home vs D2?
Decent but I'd rather take a H&H vs VCU or St. Mary's on the road vs home D2.

Great research everyone. Really exciting things happening! Muller is solidifying himself (in my book) as the best coach I have seen lead the Birds. I loved Stallings too, but Muller is passing him!

Stallings : 123-63 = .661 winning % (6 years) Ranked #24 in 1997, 2 time regular Season champ. '97/'98, 2 NCAA births, 2.88 SOS
Muller: 122-80 = .604 winning % (6 years) Unranked, 1 regular Season champ. 2017, 0 NCAA births. 2.89 SOS
[SOS - A rating of strength of schedule. The rating is denominated in points above/below average, where zero is average. Non-Division I games are excluded from the ratings.]
By the stats, Stallings body of work was better of course. I would also take into account Muller's recruiting and scheduling and give Muller the upper hand on that. What do you all think?

Donewald was a great coach. He recruited some very good players from Indiana.
So if we out a few of these bits of info together,
Finals over on dec 15
Looking for home buy game dec 16
Maybe road trip to VCU later that week
Then continuation of road trip to UCF on Dec 21
That all seeems logistically feasible.

Someone posted on the league forum that ISU/VCU H&H is set up starting with road game in 2018. Is this confirmed? I see above ADunk said they are looking but nothing concrete.

Yes, TP the Stallings stare was incredible. I didnt see Donewald coach (Bender was the first I saw) so I cant vote for him, but he is up there will all-time ISU coaches for sure.

what are better options to gauge by
- recruiting rankings
- grade point average
- average height
- average weight
- arena size
- school enrollment
- school endowment
Yes, again, nothing is perfect ... even preseason conference projections. Using your logic, just schedule anyone and hope for the best at the end of the regular season (wait, that was the Tim Jankovich philosophy). Maybe in-state only, save on costs.
Last year's RPI is at least a relative approximation of where the team has been and could be again. If there was a rolling five-year program strength ranking out there, that may be better (at least until the coach changes).
no matter where you go ... there you are

Least to most excited to see (entertainment)
1. Lindenwood
2. Chicago St
3. Cleveland St
4. Florida Gulf Coast
5. @UIC
6. Georgia
7. @Belmont road test against quality team
8. Ole Miss ... thank you Twitter
9. Clemson (ACC ... and of course assume we both win)
10. San Diego St (Hope Steve Fisher can Attend)
11. @Central Florida (Revenge and 7"6"center)
12. Creighton (Not given but why not. Beat the Other Greg and former MVC foe)
13. BYU - I just have a feeling this could be a classic against a good opppnent
I actually think games 4 -13 can be entertaining.
