I wonder where ISU will open up on a national scale. One would have to expect T100 if not T50, right?

I love that Matt Hein got screen time there. That guy should be everyone's favorite player this year. Dude is PAYING MONEY to bust his ass in hot ass RBA over the summer. We should be kissing his ass every time he hits a shot this year, regardless of what else happens.

I really appreciate this update video and it allows us to see a little behind the scenes. Obviously, they didn't want to show too much because the video could be found by another squad and used as extra film.

A few positives that I saw in the short clip was that Rey is really, really big. I don't remember the last time we had a freshman with a D1 ready body. He had a really nice finish off the glass through contact against Taylor around the :16 mark.
The video starts with (I believe) Fisher hitting a 3. If he is a Fayne-like player with range...he might just be more like Jackie than Phil.
Jefferson had a really nice jab-step to pull up over Boogie.
Lastly, they seem to like each other, if you check the last scene where Taylor gets his revenge and pump fakes Rey out of the gym. They got excited about it. I'm guessing they were doing a team vs team drill where loser has to run. Nonetheless it was fun to see and I'm very excited about this season.

Jackie made a total of four 3 pointers at Illinois State, and one of those was, well you know!

I was more referring to the fact that Jackie consistently hit from 15 feet where Phil rarely shoots outside 6

Sorry, also forgot in that Duhon thread to mention that Dan also said we have 2 more games to schedule and that they’re having trouble finding a suitable opponent. He wants a home/Home, starting on the road.

Adunk, you have the eyes of an eagle. I had a hard time picking out who's who from the new players. Looks like Bruniga made a statement at the end there.

So we still have no true road games that we know of? The Cayman field and home slate are excellent but if there's 2-3 games left to schedule they gotta be on the road, no?

And hopefully against someone worthy. I know DM wants a H/H but it's late June---take a buy game if need be. Hell, take two. If heaven forbid we find ourselves in another '17 situation come March, the last thing we'll want to hear is how we didn't play anyone on the road. We aren't Syracuse. Can't make that situation work in our favor.

I like our noncon schedule a helluva lot better than the options other schools choose, I.e. playing Chicago State, EIU, SEMO, Georgia Southern, UALR, etc.
