Summer League is over. That’s the only thing I would read into it. That and DAP is a class act thanking the organization for a great opportunity.

DAP's body of work seems better . . .

18.8 mpg / 12.0 ppg / 2.0 rpg / 1.5 blocks/game

And I think he might be younger by a year.

You always sound so bitter; I hope everything is OK with you in real life because your online presence has me a bit concerned.

Anyway, this is cool read. Peace

Lofton is fighting a huge uphill battle trying to make the league. For the sake of comparison.
Which player would you want:

Player A: 19 min, 10.8 ppg, 39% from the field, 2.5 boards, 1 assist, 1 steal. Age: 25 (26 in Nov).
Player B: 19 min, 12 ppg, 43% from the field, 2 boards, 1.5 assists, 2 steals. Age 25 (26 in June).
Player C: 23 min, 12.4 ppg, 43% from field, 8.6 boards, 1.6 assists, .5 steal. Age 22 (23 in April)

One of these three got signed to an NBA team and got a contract. The other two will have fruitful careers overseas and make decent money playing a game they love.

Age makes a huge difference in the NBA. The mean age of a drafted player this season was 20.2, while the mode was 19.

Just one final summer league update: Mikyle McIntosh's Portland squad won the summer league last night. He finished the summer appearing in 5 games, averaging 3.2 min, 0.4 pts, 1 rebound, 0.8 assist, and shot 20% from the field.

I'll bet they didn't put him on the court near the end of any close games
