ISU Fall enrollment numbers up 10% (ot)
Perhaps this is off topic, and if it is I understand if you move or delete it, Quinnie. Since much is posted about the relative strength of other schools, especially in-state and how it effects athletics, ISU numbers for the fall are now out. We had a 10% INCREASE in new and graduate students this fall. This link below outlines the details, but our growth and stability continues to outshine most every school in the state and is among the best nationally. This is the biggest increase in 25 years. In recent years, our new student count has only dropped once (-0.7 last year). Like most every U, athletics here are heavily supported by student fees. So all ships rise as enrollment goes, and we remain strong and stable.... https://news.illinoisstate.edu/2018/09/ ... ois-state/
We are actually down 150 students from last year but there was a really big jump in Freshman/graduate numbers and a drop in Transfers. I would think that freshman number is the most important number.
