Or we are finally play as a team?

Re: Hein

According to analytics, Hein is one of the worst players in college basketball. I would not be surprised if we play our best basketball without him. You only need 7 players and playing Hein is throwing away minutes. Too many people on here would rather play some guy they like than winning. Anybody ...

Re: Hein

Really interesting that so many people want to talk about how they don't like Hein so much. How about we all support our players, especially the ones that work their a** off & help make this team better? Redbird sports night

Last night was a great night for ISU athletics. The swimming & diving team beat Evansville 172-77. This was the first time I ever attended a swimming & diving meet and it was a lot of fun. Free to get into & great student athletes to cheer on. After swimming & diving it was off to gymnastics to watc...

1st Valley game

First Valley game of the season & the Redbirds come away with a win. Very exciting game that came down to the wire. TeTe sunk 1 free throws to go up 2 & then the defense held the Panthers the last 29 seconds. Was a game of runs for the most part. TeTe played very well & had 29 points. Lexi Wallen ha...

I know I do not have skin in the game and primarily just a reader on this forum - but I need to say I've always cherished diversity of opinion. Like the post or not - I read them all and self analyze to myself as far as agreeing or disagreeing. I know - some post go way too far - but, in my opinion...

Re: DECEMBER 20th...will REDBIRD ARENA survive??

For anyone wondering how loud it was, my ears are still ringing. It was fun though to have all that energy in Redbird. During the first quarter every made Redbird basket sounded like we won on a last second shot. Most of the kids seemed to be having fun and I'm guessing some will go home and ask the...

Re: Maryville

The good thing is if Goods is doubled she tries to find the open woman. She is a well rounded player. Not sure most Valley teams have players that can stop her.

Maryville

Another home game, another victory for the women. Simone Goods is very good at basketball. She had a double double today. A little nervous in the second half when she went down but she seemed fine when she came back in. We can't afford to lose her.

First road win

Women's basketball had their first road win of the season tonight. I was only able to watch the second half. NKU started to make a comeback but the Birds pulled it out. Nice to see these ladies putting together some wins.

Re: Ole Miss Pregame Event - Redbird Rally

Making sure I'm at the game early to get a ticket to win a bobblehead is what kept me from signing up along with having passes to the Redbird Room. I knew if we went to the event we would end up socializing and wouldn't get to the arena as early as I would want. Alumni Engagement does a great job wi...

vs. Austin Peay

Nice double digit win by the ladies tonight. They held the Governors to 5 points in the 4th quarter. Goods is playing really well right now. It will be nice when Saylor, Crompton, & Talbot are healthy & can give the rest of the team some rest.

I haven't read the whole thread and probably won't but it is sure nice to come on here and seem some positivity. That game last night was one I'm sure glad I didn't miss. The team played with a lot of heart and determination down the stretch. It was great to see the Keyshawn of old. Copeland is lear...

Re: Cayman Islands Classic Game 3 vs Boise State, 12:30 PM CST

After watching the games here the last three days, here is a couple of my takeaways: Milik is unstoppable when he is focused. Rey Idowu and Matt Chastain will be good #6 & #7 players off the bench when Valley play begins. Gained some valuable minutes here the last couple days & really stepped up de...
