Re: New Intros at Redbird Arena

There's a youtube of a Purdue game where this was done. Looks pretty neat. I'm glad we're trying new things.

Re: 2019-20 Expectations

Historically newer groups tend to lose a couple games on the road they're favored to win. I wouldn't imagine any different with this group. I imagine us being right around 19-20 wins due to a slightly weaker than normal non-con inflating the wins a tad. I think most people's projections of .500 Vall...

Re: Italy Trip, Coaching Assignments, New Offense

Also, yesterday you said “In exhibition games, overseas, with the entire roster basically turned over and they're just now getting to play together? I'd say who cares...“ Now today you are declaring them MVC Champs. So only you can make judgements on a team you can’t see and don’t know who they are...

https://twitter.com/Redbird_MBB/status/1161365515450892288 Gotta hold on for a win. Gotta "hold on" huh? Any slant you can take right? Seems to me we led wire to wire and were just... better. All the reports I'm getting are that this team is playing like more of a team that we had mid-season last y...

Re: Italy Trip, Coaching Assignments, New Offense

When your posting logic looks like this: *doesn't matter what the facts are...* *insert narrative here* It's time to stop posting. What would you have posted if Bradley barely beat a team that almost lost to a D3 team? I'm guessing it would be about the same as what I posted. In exhibition games, o...

Re: Italy Trip, Coaching Assignments, New Offense

Couldnt agree more. A lot of the views I have are born out of love for ISU basketball. I want to see ISU basketball on the next level. I am tired of the mediocrity over the past what 20 years or so? I would like to see Dan and ISU take the next step. It hasn't happened and is quite frustrating. I h...

Re: Italy Trip, Coaching Assignments, New Offense

If we have to put up with you and read your posts, at least do us the decency of reading ours. You completely, 100% missed the point. Do you get off acting like Ronald McDouche-bag? Those types of posts get old. I actually like that Bombay compared ISU to the Illini vs comparing ISU to WIU, SIU, EI...

Re: Italy Trip, Coaching Assignments, New Offense

I don't blame anyone for questioning the state of the program. I, for one, think we should be miles ahead of where we are right now and part of that is on Dan and staff. I dont mind reading opinions such as these and even opinions with a much more negative slant than these. But every thread is litte...

Dangerously close to approaching troll territory... which is a bannable offense here I believe.

Everyone's opinions are always warranted and welcomed, but when you come swinging with an agenda just to get a rise out of people... it's time to sharpen the axe.

Re: One Scholarship Left

Pocketing the scholarship if we don't land someone that's a very high priority might also be happening due to our new assistant having "ins" where we didn't before. There may be a couple 2020's now on our radar that Muller is looking long term for here, instead of just throwing a body on the bench f...

I don't think this means he committed yet. It's a recruiting thing done by the basketball staff for his visit.
Oh my bad, didn't see he was on visit today. Hopefully a good sign of things to come, but yeah... standard stuff.

Agreed. If this was titled "Rumors Heard in the Stands..." then knock yourself out and talk about whatever you want. But if I go on Twitter or Facebook right now and post that you got fired from your place of profession, or were leaving it, stating it as a fact, you'd be up in arms about it...and ri...
