May I suggest that some ill-informed posters google college sports attendance declines. It might inform the ill-informed.

Not that they'll be bright enough to comprehend these facts.
Show me a pro sports team that takes out its best seats for premium areas and I’ll take a look at the research.

Re: Redbird Arena Renovations

Well I made the mistake of clicking on yet another negative post. ISU has in fact sold 52 of the 76 loge seats available for season ticket purchase. They are $75 more than the season tickets below them in each section. But the donation is $1000 per seat compared to the $175, $375, or $575 it takes ...

Re: 2019-20 Expectations

This whole concept that we didn’t “play hard” last season and that this years’ team is “buying in”, is a joke. This is D1 basketball, all of these kids have high motors. To be honest, I can’t say I’ve ever seen a Redbird team that dogs it up and down the court, no team at this level does. Either th...

Re: Redbird Arena Renovations

https://twitter.com/The_Vidette/status/1163896863776485376 I think those Loge Boxes are going to be cooler than I anticipated. They don't look as bad as I expected. I will miss the clean look Redbird had with seats all the way up to the top. Sounds like sales haven't been great for them. The thing ...

Re: Non-conference thoughts

My non-conference projections:

Belmont - Loss
Little Rock - Win
UCF - Win
Virgin Island Tournament - Loss, Win, Win
Purdue Northwest - Win
TCU - Loss
Morehead State - Win
Northern Kentucky - Win
UIC - Win
UTSA - Loss

Think we go 8-4 in non-conference.

Any idea what Belmont brings back? I felt like they lost a lot from last year, but couldn't remember.

Re: 2019-20 Expectations

We will be better than last year's team. We lose Milik's scoring but also his turnovers. We lose Key's shot attempts and gain point guards that can pass and that have size defensively. We lose Fayne's offense but also his defense. Ever notice Milik had to guard the other teams big? We lose Tinsley'...

Re: 2019-20 Expectations

They will have a decent overall record. The non-conference schedule isn't spectacular (if what is reported is true). I think a lot of it depends on staying healthy (specifically, Copeland and Fisher). I don't think we will be as deep as expected from looking at the roster and watching the game the o...

Re: Season Tickets?

Yikes, wonder what happened? Saving money? https://twitter.com/Ilstate/status/1162412582935904258 Rico I am not always in your corner but often I fall there. But gotta say in this day and age do you really care about having tickets in a book? ISU should be going to E tickets ASAP to save money and ...

Re: Italy Trip, Coaching Assignments, New Offense

:text-+1: LOL a bunch of "adults" afraid of opinions on a basketball message board. No one is afraid of opinions. The same bitching about every little thing and finding fault is tiresome. Every thread that has even a hint of anything positive is immediately poo-pooed by the peanut gallery. I find t...

Malcom Miller with a corner 3. They might need him as a catch and shoot guy.

Re: Italy Trip, Coaching Assignments, New Offense

For this team to win, they are going to have to play Reeves. There are not enough guys that can shoot. Copeland won't get any shots without someone else out there. Hillsman is a guy that doesn't look as good as I thought he would.
