Re: Henry Beard - transfer guard from USF

I have no problem with walk-ons. We always need bodies when Danger Dan runs the team into the ground.

My issue with walk-ons under Muller is since we lost Dana and Torrey, there isn’t much of a difference between most of the scholarship players and walk-ons.

Re: Redbird Arena Renovations

Have you ever been to the swimming/diving facility? It is worse than what the local high schools have. Indoor tennis has to be played in a privately owned inflatable facility that is at least five miles from campus. Horton has had the indoor track resurfaced but is not a legitimate venue for confer...

Re: Mo St Recruiting

So Cooper hasn't shown up on campus yet, and he only verballed to MSU. I, honestly, hope that his reclassification to 2019 didn't prompt some P5 schools get into his ear and are working him to change his destination. Another MSU recruit, Dajuan Harris reclassified from 2019 to 2020, so MSU released...

Re: Valley Coaching Salaries

Yup, that sounds about right. Purple Ben and Muller have by far the highest winning percentage of the coaches in the Valley (minimum 4 years coaching). Chris Holtman at Ohio St makes about $7.5 Million a year and has a winning percentage about equal to Dan Muller. Ben Jacobson and Holtman are sligh...

Re: Muller's recruiting trip

What I found interesting was the strategy to send all the coaches to the southeast. I wonder if that is because that is where most of the guys we are recruiting are at or because you only get one weekend to go out this summer and figure you get a chance to see the players in the midwest at other tim...

Re: Redbird Arena Renovations

I get those athletes have things they want, and maybe I am wrong, but I don't think any of their facilities are inadequate. Only the indoor track and field situation and bathrooms at tennis are probably not up to D1 standards. All the sports that seem to have an issue also have the largest budgets i...

Pretty sure Muller is something like 80-45 vs the MVC. Gregg Marshall - 134-46 (.744) - NCAA Tournaments 6 (while in MVC) Dan Muller - 76-50 (.603) - NCAA Tournaments -0 Ben Jacobson - 130-86 (.602) - NCAA Tournaments 4 Dan is doing well winning regular season games in the MVC. However, until he go...

Coprich sold weed to an informant that was trying to curry favor with the pd. The circumstances were so close to entrapment that the DA wasn’t very enthusiastic about pursuing it. He’s a good kid that made a mistake. The flippant way you drag his name through the mud reminds of the old saying about...
