Re: 2019 NCAA Baseball Tournament

Ball 3 to the batter who walked, that was the go ahead run, had been a strike all day.

Re: D1 Transfers of Interest

Tim was a 70 percent free throw shooter in high school. He had considerably fewer attempts at GCU which didn't help his percentage. I would love to have Tim, but I might be a little biased.

Re: D1 Transfers of Interest

Most importantly Tim is a Champaign Central grad not centennial. If you are looking for a character kid, you don’t get much better character than Tim Finke. Not sure where Tim will end up, but he can be a very good contributor in the right situation. I have seen Bradley pop up from a few people as a...

Not really paying attention, but the travel softball team I coach is a 501c3 nonprofit, and we would gladly take those $500 or less or more donations. Hit me up if you are interested :) vgelite16u@gmail.com or isuphloyd@gmail.com

Payton was one of many Central Illinois kids near the Illinois bench, the kid from Gibson City who just got an offer from UIC was there as well. Payton did go in the back afterwards.

Re: $6.2 million Redbird Arena project

need an indoor practice facility more!!!!!!!! Why is our basketball team practicing outdoors? Explains poor free throw shooting over the years. All the time compensating for the wind during practice. As for the band, bring back the Flaming Tubas! (or are they back, unfortunately due to my basketbal...

Great kid. Colorado State is the front runner but I think he does have his eyes open. I told him on Sunday being at Drake he would be starting off with at least 2 losses every year, he must have listened :)

I believe Muller is meeting with Michael Finke today. Over 50 schools have shown interest in Finke. Wake Forest and Vanderbilt have both been in for home visits.

Michael Finke will leave Illinois and play his final season as a grad transfer elsewhere. I expect at least 1 more player to leave Champaign.

ISU has not offered. Dad played basketball then football at U of I, his brother Michael currently plays at U of I, his brother Nick is at West Point playing basketball for Army. Both brothers finished high school in the 6'6 6'7 range. Michael is now 6'10 as a redshirt junior and Nick is now about 6'...

Loyola was in to see Tim yesterday, Northern Iowa coming later this week. Tim was banged up some during the July recruiting period. Has 19 offers, would love to see him as a Redbird.
