Re: Athlon Sports

Of course, I am often wrong, as my wife, work colleagues, and kids would all be quick to attest... Dude, we must live identical lives. BTW...I expect the conference to be better and expect this to reflect in the various algorithmic rankings. However, not confident it will resonate with the selectio...

86 - this is really good stuff. Could you run some kind of an algorithm telling me when my White Sox will actually be competitive or .........if not, my formula just always tells me they Suck. U put a lot of work into this - interesting. Just so long as you've got us being competitive and not being...

Rey looking like a stud in this one...would be great if he could have an Dinma Odiakosa impact. I also noticed Abdou's name translated to "The President of the world" in my Facebook on another picture.

Re: Athlon Sports

I expect the league to be much improved. With that assumption and the loss of experience I think 5th to 8th Place is a very rational prediction. There's reasons to think we will catch the league by surprise and finish much higher.

Maybe we can sell advertising our fight song too. For instance, instead of yelling, "ISU GO!" at the end it could be "Go to Pub II!!!"...for a fee of course.

Re: Beer and Wine coming

I doubt I drink any beer at games but I like the move. Back when I was a swinging single my friends and I were way more likely to attend events where we could have a drink...it will help attendance. I think most people being a drunken mess at games probably showed up pretty well sauced. I am, howeve...

11 weeks until tip-off. These are the kind of updates I'd like to hear for that time span. No arrests, academic issues, or injuries.

Re: 2019-20 Expectations

We will be better than last year's team. We lose Milik's scoring but also his turnovers. We lose Key's shot attempts and gain point guards that can pass and that have size defensively. We lose Fayne's offense but also his defense. Ever notice Milik had to guard the other teams big? We lose Tinsley'...

I think this team will be more fun to watch, and have the Paris Lee intensity we were missing last year. Looking forward to new leadership in the huddles.
I agree with all of this.

2019-20 Expectations

Now that the summer tour is done, the roster is complete and the team has so far survived mostly healthy and out of legal trouble...what is everyone expecting from this team? I figured I'd ask now before my lenses start turning more Redbird Red as the season approaches. I fully expect the defensive ...

Good gravy, if I've got the right team their website refers to us as Bradley University on their schedule. This means war!

Interesting starting 5 yesterday. Nice to see cope found the bottom of the basket a bunch. Can't wait to watch this team live this year. Can already tell they will be a likable bunch. Hey, try to keep on topic! I agree with you, I'm looking forward to a fun season. Still worried about replaci...

Re: Italy Trip, Coaching Assignments, New Offense

I see a bunch of blocked posts from my favs and this from Quinn. Let me guess  The boys are all pissy about no box score for a fancy pants practice in Italy in the middle of August. Am I right? I knew it! Me? I'm more concerned with did the kids order the linguine with clam sauce or the brac...
