Re: 2019-20 Expectations

This whole concept that we didn’t “play hard” last season and that this years’ team is “buying in”, is a joke. This is D1 basketball, all of these kids have high motors. To be honest, I can’t say I’ve ever seen a Redbird team that dogs it up and down the court, no team at this level does. Either th...

Re: 2019-20 Expectations

We will be better than last year's team. We lose Milik's scoring but also his turnovers. We lose Key's shot attempts and gain point guards that can pass and that have size defensively. We lose Fayne's offense but also his defense. Ever notice Milik had to guard the other teams big? We lose Tinsley'...

Re: Italy Trip, Coaching Assignments, New Offense

Interesting starting 5 yesterday. Nice to see cope found the bottom of the basket a bunch. Can't wait to watch this team live this year. Can already tell they will be a likable bunch. Hey, try to keep on topic! I agree with you, I'm looking forward to a fun season. Still worried about replaci...

Certainly a strange box score from Nebraska's game with today's opponent.

Wow lazy work on their part. Geez I wish they would take 5 minutes away from their vacation and do a complete detailed box score.

https://goredbirds.com/news/2019/8/10/mens-basketball-redbirds-in-rome-veni-vidi-vici.aspx Torres, Copeland, Chas, Fisher, and Rey started. Love that we pressed the entire first quarter and that lead to a 26-10 score. I always wished Dan would do that more but perhaps previous personnel didn't have...

They seem like they are gelling already. I love Copeland saying how nice it is to play with guys that like to play hard. This team won't look like last year's at all.

Pretty classless. He bought out a game at Valpo then went on twitter to mock their fans.
Agreed. Not good optics.

Re: Muller's recruiting trip

It's silly to think JSNBCYT of whatever he called himself before changing his name just took his ball and went home. :( I never bought it. I'm going to try ignoring the 1, 2 or 3 of him. I'm pretty sure I'll get at least one right. ;) It won't be easy because he/they have to inject his/they're pois...

Re: 2019 MVC in the NBA Summer League

Plee would do great with Memphis. He is that bulldog defender similar to Mike Connolly. He definitely fits the culture. I thought he would get a good look and a shot, especially with the way he's played, but now the Grizzlies have signed Tyus Jones, after drafting Ja Morant.and rrading for De'Antho...

Wow. Lots of shots fired here. You are sending some mixed messages here, champ. You seem to be violently against the coach, the players and the AD... yet you continue to show up to games. Have you ever thought about just... ya know... going away? Like, there are lots of other teams in the area (we ...

Perhaps this explains some of his struggles last year . . . https://twitter.com/tayloreldridge/status/1144751130737594370?s=21 Hmmmm. So Marshall forced a back up point guard to postpone a much needed surgery? He was their starting point guard to start the year. Then came off the bench then started...
