Re: MVC Transfer Thread

Anyone know how Ike is doing in his search for a new school? Any possibility he comes back?

Plee nabs MVP, ALL-Offensive team , ALL-Defensive team in EuroMillions Basketball League . . . Congrats to PLee! https://twitter.com/tripledoublesm/status/1131305836842766338 Gotta say, peeps - the player that our beloved Paris Lee is today - was shaped tremendously by PLee buying fully into Dan Mu...

Re: Offered: Kolton Mitchell, 6’4” PG

Dan seems pretty high on Boyd and Horne who will be a sophomore and freshman respectfully. With two seniors in Copeland and Torres I can see why he would want Kolton to redshirt.

https://twitter.com/GoodmanHoops/status/1134099880140582913 More transfers still become available every day. Anyone want a walk-on with experience playing the last several years against some of the best players in the country? Unless he got a waiver I believe he would be a sit 1 play 2. Maybe the W...

Re: Depth chart

I love the upside of Rey and I believe he will get a lot of playing time. I just don't see him starting over Fisher yet. Both of those guys play the 5 spot so unless Muller ditches the idea of a stretch 4 then I don't see them on the court at the same time. Now at the 4 spot I could see Bruniga star...

I have always been a glass half full guy, unless that glass had beer in it.

Count me as looking forward to this upcoming season

I am curious what you everyone thinks the rotation will next year assuming that Torres gets the waiver. I am thinking this right now. Could change is Taylor is fully healed and finds his stroke and how quickly Horne and Reeves acclimate to D1. The nice thing I see is lack of distractions and me firs...

Re: So how are we feeling now?

Agree on the on the plague of inconsistent shooting on last year's team that hindered their offensive margins which is why it is disappointing at some level that Josh Jefferson transferred. He is a pure shooter and couldn't get on the floor (assume defensive liability) and then went into a slump. I...

I like this signing as well. He won't be asked to score and he has good court vision.

Re: 2019 Interest - based on tweets and follows

So Greenlee or Mitchell? If we can land one which one do you guys want? Mitchell. Cut from the same cloth as Rey. Very positive, smart kid with a ton of upside. He can score on all 3 levels but is pass first and defensive minded. Also, I love the idea of having a 6'4 pg in the Valley. Greenlee is a...

Re: Good morning Redbird fans... It's Friday

I don't know the situation everywhere, but are any other MVC schools recruiting anyone in their 2019 class? I was reading the Indy State message board and they are not. I know UNI and Mo State are full for next year. We make it sounds like this is a normal thing to have this many scholarships open,...

Is it just me or does it seem that recently the best way to get a recruit is to keep this board from knowing about it?

:D
Or keep the recruits from knowing about this board.

Well he played at Lincoln Academy last year and they seem to play a national schedule. And he played AAU. I'm thinking he's gonna be OK. I don't think the "new guard" appreciates your positivity. Going forward I think we are all supposed to bitch and moan about anything as related to ISU. As an exa...

Shooters can spread the floor and open up the driving Lanes for Copeland and Chastain. That is what we were missing last season.

Re: Good morning Redbird fans... It's Friday

I am also curious on the board's thoughts. Do incoming recruits place much weight on the revolving door at ISU? It seems like it would be fairly simple for the recruit or their family to notice that Dan has a high turnover rate. Do they connect the dots, that this could be related to the head coach...

Wow he is oozing with athletic ability. The fact he shot at that clip from three is promising. His game could really take off in college. Good get Muller.
