Re: 2019 - Chris Payton, 6-7/205, SF, Bloomington, IL

Very possible. It seems like such an odd time to just quit. I know there has been issues all year, but didn’t think he would ever just say nope I’m done. Especially on a team that has state potential. Good on Mosely if that’s the case. Heard nothing but positive things about him as a coach and as a ...

Sorry misquote. Was going off the top of my head. Didn’t have the article in front of me. But don’t you think if he “wanted” to be there he would still be on the team?

Re: 2019 - Chris Payton, 6-7/205, SF, Bloomington, IL

Didn’t quit. Suspended by the coaching staff. Left the team! Yes, this changed the next day. Guess the coaching staff couldn’t get him on the same page. Did find it interesting that Mosely said something about focusing on coaching the 13 guys that wanted to be there. Uncoachable? That never transla...

At UCF Friday 6pm

Any thoughts on this game? UCF picked to win the AAC over Cincinnati. Cincinnati absolutely destroyed UCLA last night. So if UCF is better than Cincinnati, I think our beloved birds are in trouble. Hopefully the guys that played the last 5 min of regulation and OT against Cleveland State show up. I ...

Re: Frustration

100% agree. I think we all know that it’s win in STL or nothing this year. So why not get behind this team and as a fan base show up and support them and show them the community is behind them. 6,200 fans for SDST coming in to town is pathetic. Especially following an exciting win over BYU.

Let’s get back on track with DJ as the current recruit. Has anyone found any stats from games this season? I know they have played a couple.

Re: SMU v. Bradley

Look at Milik’s numbers since Dan called him out publicly. At one of the breaks in today’s games they did a piece on this. Dan said that he did it bc he thought Milik would respond and he knew he had a good enough relationship with him that he could do it and Milik wouldn’t hold it against him. Also...

Re: Cayman Island Classic Game 2: vs Akron 10 am CST

Good lord. I think 2 year olds throwing tantrums are music to my ears compared to reading this place these days. We aren’t as bad as most of you think and we aren’t as good as Dan said we were going to be. Will we get there? Maybe. We need Keyshawn to look like he’s played organized basketball again...

Birds win by 15 after being down 15 in the first half. Muller leaves at halftime and JSNbirds steps up to lead us from the stands and then leads the team for the fight song in the student section 😑

Re: Next season

I’m excited to see what an offseason does for Boogie. His shot changed so much from the begining of the year to the finish. At the beginning it was a slow long release. Now he is raising up with a quicker, smoother release. A full offseason to keep improving the new shot has me excited for him. His ...

Re: Next season

I believe that in the recruiting article about Dixon he made mention of a possible redshirt coming in to try and add size to his frame. 6’9” 190lbs. I can’t be 100% sure on that, but I sure feel like I read that somewhere.

Re: Phil Fayne injury update

I don't like that there is ANY "Ligament damage". That is terrible news. I wouldn't play him vs Bradley or any game till St. Louis, for that matter. I think we are pretty safely out of the bottom 4 right now, so let's just use these next few games to get Clarence playing under control, get Boogie t...
