Re: Bradley sucks...

If you are a "glass half full" kind of a guy, bu is doing their 13 fans a favor by saving them a ton of $$$. They are destined for another BU Thursday Night Invitational and with that knowledge bu nation can plan accordingly. 1. Leave P Town around noon on Thursday afternoon. Making sure their five...

I don't like this game at all.

Salukis 64

i just don't think we can score enough to win this game.

If ISU can not win at home vs an SIU team that has lost 5 out of last 7, including some real ugly losses, then this team will likely be below 500 in MVC play.

Re: vs SIU Dogs 1/15/19

Loyola game was a good loss if such a thing....meaning ISU played competitively and there were several positive takeaways which consequently means Redbird team psyche should be good. ISU should win this game for many reasons otherwise this will be a bad loss, IMO. Given improving ISU play plus Bozo ...

But we have Hein now as a regular in the rotation!
Yep and why those minutes do not go to someone else is beyond me...those few minutes Hein played in the Loyola game may have cost ISU the game.

Hopefully they do the right thing and bring the students closer to the floor as well.

Old thinking if that is the design. Someone needs to get out and see some exciting and energized venues. Rba could be that way with the right setup

Re: Tinsley

Or does he? There’s a difference between being athletic, and possessing great basketball talent. Exactly. And if you're an athletic but limited basketball talent, you damn well better be outstanding rebounding and defensively. And maybe pass up the wild 3 and make the extra pass. Anthony Jones. :te...

At the Purdue vs Whiskey game. Sasha was in the game within 5 minutes. Looks like a bright future ahead as a boiler.

Re: NIU Coach Leaves

I thought I would post a link to a story about the Northwestern $260 million athletic facility. The football practice facility on the lake looks pretty nice! These are the "haves". Beautiful facility. The money in the Power 5 is really staggering. I don't think Fitzgerald is leaving anyway, he has ...

Happy Birthday Redbird Arena. Still looking good after 30 years. Re: NIU Coach Leaves

Double his salary. I thought he made between $400k-$450k here. However, even if we bumped his pay to $500k, we still couldn’t pay him close to NIU. Why would ISU bump his salary? As of recent it is not like Spack has been setting the world on fire...basically 3 straight years of 500 winning percent...

Re: NIU Coach Leaves

Not worried about the MAC luring Spack, but I am worried about Fitzgerald possibly getting scooped out of Northwestern and Brock getting a SWEET job in Evanston. Spack to Northwestern? If this post is serious that one is really out there, IMO. I think you would have a better chance of predicting th...

one thought i just had, about chastain taking tinsley's minutes.. when's the last time tinsley was part of a fast break? Many comments regarding Tinsley’s shortcomings and I believe in part they are all correct. When you watch him play at times you want to go out and kick him in the arse (figurativ...

Re: ISU vs Evansville, 1/5/19

Question for anyone - we've played better D against Valpo and Evansville. I'm sure everyone would agree these 2 schools are NOT of the caliber of 3-4 non conference teams who slapped us around pretty good. R we really better or is it simply the Valley competition. Yes, clearly we R keeping our man ...

SIU Targeting prospective ISU students

Yesterday and today I pulled up US News and World Report's ranking of ISU and each time a pop up advertising banner appeared directly at the top of the page for SIU. I have found ISU to be quiet regarding the serious shortcomings of SIU, NIU, WIU..etc. Maybe it is time for ISU to take the gloves off...

Re: Fire Larry Lyons

The number is not made up, Chiredbird. Outside of about half of the P5 schools, every school in the country depends on student fees and other U subsidies for their athletics programs to survive. Reading everyone's comments, about fundraising. About attendance, you certainly realize that virtually e...

Purely speculation, but I think we can win at Mo State, at Drake, at Bradley, and maybe at Evansville and at Northern Iowa if our guys continue to play good defense.

Re: ISU vs Evansville, 1/5/19

agree 100% with Muller's halftime comments on ball movement. Good to hear him say that...that first half was good defense and the offense lagged a bit due to ball movement, IMO.
