Re: Cayman Island Game 1: Georgia vs Redbirds, 11/19/18 @ 12:30PM

Holy crap. 7Points? Finally watched, re-watched, and I am glad I did not even see any more of the game. B. S. Brad Davidson of Wisconsin got called for it against Houston Baptist so it is not a P5 conspiracy as some like to believe . They need to make that call but penalty can be too severe in cert...

Re: It Is Time to Make a Coaching Change...

Who's proven he'll leave first better offer that comes along. I wish we had coaches moving on every five years or so. That would peobably mean we are having consisitant success. :text-+1: :text-+1: :text-+1: :text-+1: :text-+1: That is why someone should get taken to the woodshed for giving Muller ...

Re: Cayman Island Game 1: Georgia vs Redbirds, 11/19/18 @ 12:30PM

Tinsley hits a pair of 3s on b2b possessions to cut it to 13. Instead of doing the smart thing, and trying to screen for him or work the ball around to get an open look and see if a third will drop and possibly cut it to 10, Copeland dribbles down, dribbles some more, and fires up a semi-contested ...

Re: Cayman Island Game 1: Georgia vs Redbirds, 11/19/18 @ 12:30PM

Crean is laughing his butt off! We had the worst shooting lineup I have ever seen... in a game we can’t score...lol! Can’t make this up! it is the defensive end that is really troubling. Georgia on a pace to score 125. It wasn’t technically the defense! It was the rebounding that killed us! Tinsley...

Georgia looks very tall, lengthy with some athletes. ISU overmatched in the physicality department big time.

Blueprint to beat the Redbirds: Until someone else decides to step up, it’s as simple as double teaming MY and hacking Phil in the post. Convince me otherwise... Generally agree although it is early and we will know a lot very soon. The Redbirds appear to be a top heavy roster with: - very talented...

Re: Mr Copeland.

Had a good time chatting with Zach Copeland’s dad at the Grand Cayman airport today. Very nice gentleman. Looks to be around 6’7”-6’8”. Will be his first time watching Zach playing live in a Redbird uniform. Curious to see how you sought after and found Copelands dad in an airport ? Weird to say th...

Re: BEAT THE TUX BIRDS....GO, REDBIRDS!...ISU vs YSU..Seniors!!

Robinson really is special. ISU run game looked so dominant at times this year included this game. Surprising how UNI, SDSU and Indy State held him to 140 yards over 3 games.

Smith must be in the doghouse as suggested by some. He is talented too but seems to be a rebel aeven with his teammates.

I am going to guess 143. What do you think?

If weather at Hancock is anything like chciago then that might be a good guess. Horrible fan weather 33 degrees and sloppy wet snow coming down.

Re: It's happening .... Again

The slow starts are frustrating. I the past I always associated it with all of the new faces and generally having only 1-2 returners with substantial playing time under their belt. This year seems to point to there being another cause to the issue. :text-+1: agree... at some point one should look f...

And in other news: https://twitter.com/CoachBmullins/status/1060552900336857088 I really wish an NBA team would give him a look You would think some team would want a defensive specialist. He would get posted up non-stop by the long big guards in the NBA. Tyler Ulis, a better all around P Lee, is i...

Re: Cayman Island Classic

I would be interested to know how many ISU people go on these trips, where it isn't stateside? Seems like they could've offered some kind of package deal. I would have been interested in something like that. But if only 10 people go to these things, then yeah I would agree it isn't worth it. also d...

Re: Purdue's Jeff Brohm to Louisville

Agree with the comments that Spack's opportunity was 2 to 3 years ago especially looking at the ISU football results. If people are getting frustrated by Muller, by comparison, Spack should be getting some heat too even with the national championship game, IMO. ISU football should be in the playoffs...

Re: Opinion on 3 point shot

It has been a good thing for basketball...more ball movement and spreads out the offense and defense. Seeing teams with nothing but tall guys, some with very little basketball skill, just packing it inside offensively and defensively was getting old. Also the 3 pointer makes coaching and strategy mo...

I hope they leave the lights off in the upper bowl when they finish. Looks a lot better in person and on TV. You don't see the entire upper bowl as empty on TV. Plus, I like that it puts the basketball court as the center of attention.

Re: Thoughts on each player

Good analysis V Boy. Rey, right now, is the “coke machine” that everyone has asked for. A big dude that takes up space and can sorta play defense and sorta rebound. I think he will prove important to our success. The question I keep asking myself is how we graduate NO seniors, retain 89% of our sco...
