What I am noticing in both of these thread is that the new guys, Jones and Belcher are going all over the country instead of just specific areas. We've had a ton of Cali/Florida players lately. Nothing wrong with that, just nice to see some spreading out.
agreed

Re: D1 Transfers of Interest

Appears we may have reached out to Greg Foster, Jr. He's transferring from Gonzaga. Originally from Milwaukee. Dad played 13 years in NBA, and is currently an assistant with the Atlanta Hawks. http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/greg-foster-jr the father was a solid player. spent some time with th...

Re: Idowu

I am also guilty of assuming this was bad news. it almost always is.

my hopes for Rey were raised the minute i saw his FT shooting. I think he has a pretty nice shot and could eventually be a kid that shoots 75% or better.

hopefully he has a great summer.

Drafted by the Kansa City Royals
5th round 139th overall pick
Good for him. defense, speed and some pop. he could move quickly through their system.

Gotta think Aeltis and Headrick will be gone in the next few rounds.

Re: Offered: Kolton Mitchell, 6’4” PG

UMASS. I really liked this kid, so it's kind of a bummer but I understand his choice. He didn't want to redshirt and Muller would've wanted him to. Do you think he’s a Bird if he wasn’t being looked at by Muller to redshirt? Between that and Ricky committing, yes. From everything I know, he wanted ...

Re: So how are we feeling now?

The offensive sets and schemes have to change. We can't blame the coaching staff for players that struggle shooting but I always felt we did not capitalize on the talent we had last year exacerbated by who was in the dog house and couldn't get on the floor to contribute. Honestly, I always liked Ja...

Yak is in the Final 2 per Goodman. https://twitter.com/GoodmanHoops/status/1130875435368275982 Yak was at a small town high school in Illinois when Howard was the Pied Piper that led the charge with the Fab 5. Amazing that 27 years later they are competing for the same job at Michigan. incredible

Re: So how are we feeling now?

Agree with Warriors comments about addition by subtraction being the first big step towards improvement. The fact that we have virtually no returning guards (i do not consider Chastain a true guard) from last year's team is a big step forward, the fact that we no longer have MY and his ability to d...
