So he'll play for Jerry Azzinaro. That'll be a trip. And I mean that in a good way. He is one cool cat. Runs a 3-4 and likes to 2 gap his nose. Really good clinic speaker. 8-)
Yeah, um, copy that CT (CoachTimmy)

Re: Former Redbirds...

I wish Milik the best. I liked his dad a lot. Maybe he grows up and matures. Hopefully a few years overseas will help him. I tend to believe that's what going to take place with Milik. He will season and mature, and he could have a Rico Hill type run overseas. Wish it would have been different here...

Re: John Beilein leaving Michigan

The Yaklich journey is very inspiring and it's something I reiterate to my kids alot. Master a skill, master your craft, pound it, shape it, be so good at it that they can't ignore you. Then you will always be marketable. Degree or no degree.

Agreed, It's time. Being named the tallest midget shouldn't be enough to let him continue.
Appreciate you refereing to our hard-working dedicated student athletes as tall midgets. That's nice. Sweet, actually.

Re: John Beilein leaving Michigan

You know the #RB4L exists for a reason, right? Yak is a great story. Never played a minute of college basketball, was a manager on ISU's team, fast forward to high school history teacher/coach to D1 assistant, to being a candidate for one of the best jobs in the B1G. Amazing trajectory for this Red...

Re: Ricky Torres

Balderdash! Fantastic board game btw. Goes back 25 yrs for me. Except add a "funniest" category and start ripping on each other - 6pack abs are right around the corner. Rip roaring funny. While I hardly ever drink anymore, adding a 6pack to the game isn't a bad idea either. Gets the ideas a'flowin....

Bad grades, bad attitude but a "bad boy" defender and ball handler. You can't win if you don't gamble some.
Bad grades, bad attitude...when he was 14. Doesn't seem to be even remotely an issue now.

Re: Ricky Torres

You guys are getting a pretty solid player here. He's really good in the pick in roll and very creative when finding others. His biggest struggles this year was his size and his 3 pt shooting. He was a 43% 3 pt shooter in Juco and then shot like 8% last year. It has to be a mental thing so hopefull...

Betcha he's our starting point guard all year, assuming he's eligible. Our roster is now officially interesting.

Re: Antonio Reeves to ISU

Correct me if I am wrong but is this Dan’s first recruit out of Chicago? And from historically the best program in Chicago? If reeves comes here and is successful it should bode great things for future Chicago recruiting! I love this! Chicagoland...or Chicago? What is considered true Chicago?

There is zero chance football and basketball go back to difference conferences.

As a general statement, I'm not so sure about that. I could see it taking place at some point.

My suggestion for businesses - PNC, Commerce Bank, CEFCU, Hy-Vee, CAT, Bridgestone, John Deere, Jimmy Johns, Nussbaum, Sam Leman, and O'Brien.
Combine 'em all into one name. Voila!
