Re: So how are we feeling now?

Just some random thoughts I don’t get picking on Evans. He was and is a class act. He never recovered from the injury his Jr year. But he never quit and represented the University well. Won’t miss Milik. Just too much baggage which was a shame given his talent. I like what’s occurred with the coachi...

Re: Antonio Reeves to ISU

Correct me if I am wrong but is this Dan’s first recruit out of Chicago? And from historically the best program in Chicago? If reeves comes here and is successful it should bode great things for future Chicago recruiting! I love this!

Gotta be willing to come to Florida for the lesson! Too damned cold up there’s!
Got a place in Daytona. Be careful what you offer. ;)

Re: Good morning Redbird fans... It's Friday

I got the impression you live in Wisconsin? If you golfing today suggest you do not use a white ball as you may not find it up there No white stuff but too soggy for a cart. On the bright side I only lost 7 balls on a beautiful sunny day. :D On a links course with no trees. I'll schedule you...

I am less concerned with who we now have on the team. We have three open scholarships and not a peep about anyone filling those scholarships. It’s MAY!

What’s the ROI on a walk on paying his own way, who’s parents are ISU Alums and oh by the way scored 27 a game in HS! 😱😀

PLUS there’s been a lot of chatter about singing basketball players instead of athletes that have to learn the game! Well here ya go!
You mean we should have been recruiting singing basketball players?? Damn.

Any particular genre of song?
Oh man you got me there!!! Good one!🤪🤪

Re: Signing day

I am ok with this for a lot of reasons sight unseen. Good size for a guard. Like someone else said 27 points a game is good no matter where you play. Looks like he already has a great stroke. Won’t have to wait to teach him how to shoot. AND I like gym rats. 🤪

NO ONE on here likes mediocrity and a downward trend. That’s just plain incorrect at a minimum. NO ONE would be on this site if they didn’t want ISU basketball to succeed! Plain and simple so sue me!!🙀🙀🤪🤪👅👅

Re: Closing the Book on 2018-19, Looking towards 2019-20

Nice review. Clearly we have some talent coming back. If we get a couple of quality recruits who knows? This year lots was expected and we didn’t get there. Perhaps next year with
Lower expectations we might surprise.

When you bring prospects to a game and the arena is half empty hard to sell the program. I also agree with other posters students should get in free!

Re: UCF got hosed

When Zion went to the hoop before the shot the defensive player went flying. If it was a 50/50 situation then either an offensive foul or defensive foul and FTs. In that situation on a missed FT I LIKE the 7.6 guys chance of snaring the rebound. But no call and Fall fouls out. Also agree that the de...

UCF got hosed

UCF got hosed twice at the end. Should have been an offensive foul on push off before the foul on Fall. Then a push to the back for winning basket. Lots of talent there for the future too. Perhaps the Gonzaga of the south now

Oh hell the Valley doesn’t get any respect and won’t until we have some success against the big boys. Just couldn’t bring myself to root for Bradley. That’s just the history of the rivalry for me including some bad experiences in Peoria. Having said that I loved Dick Versace He was good for the Vall...

Re: Muller seeks to restore 'toughness, effort'

Gee DM said he wants a point guard! He wants effort! He wants toughness! He wants Defense! Appears he evaluated his own coaching like some of you wanted and it’s seemingly not enough. 😦
