Re: Redbird Arena Seats

Shawn Johnson engages a fan in a proper way, asking to not do something and some on here call him an arrogant prick. Some people just look for the negative in every situation. I'm sure if Johnson would have laughed off the suggestion/tweet, the same miserable people on here would have chided him for...

Re: OT: Beer

Beer does entice me to go to a games.......but it also entices me to go out to dinner....to go a barbecue....to a wedding.....etc., etc, etc. Life can be a bit of a grind.....Enjoying beer can make life seem a little less of a grind. On that note, it's in the 50s here in Chicago and the sun is out. ...

There very well may be more stability, continuity and chemistry on a randomly-formed Saturday morning squad at Four Seasons than what we have here right now at Illinois Stare.

I find the tweet to be awesome. I think most would if we were coming off a good season.

Re: BU disgraces itself, telling longtime PJS beat writer 'You don't promote the Bradley brand'

It looks bad, especially the “not promoting the brand” claim, but if and this is a big if- A media person is unfairly critical, I wouldn’t give them special perks. I think of the Tribune’s Rosenbloom, who essentially trashes teams and players simply because he is a miserable person and has found tha...

Re: Muller seeks to restore 'toughness, effort'

The moment Muller decides to emphasize and prioritize “the desire to win” as a trait that his recruits must have will be the moment the program will start excelling, Dan needs to realize that you can’t motivate players as much as you think you can....but you can teach and coach-up motivated players.

Re: Out Coached and Out Smarted

Just watched Bradley humble Loyola. It was a pleasure to see a well coached team play solid defense and make the big plays. Maybe Wardle will hold a coaches workshop over the summer and Dan can attend wearing a fake mustache and learn some bench skills. Other seminars could include 1. Playing with ...

Re: Barry

I’d like to see Barry replace Doug Elgin. . Why...seems like it would be more of the same? I guess I tend to believe that the MVC is in danger of becoming the OVC, or worse, and that reversing the conferwnce’s downward spiral is going to take a visible, boisterous personality, among other things.

I think the likely scenario is that we win this one by 25-20, get an over-inflated head, then lose out.

Thanks for your hard work and excellent moderating, Quinn. I think it is a thankless job. I appreciate and respect your work. Other than the double standards, rampant hypocrisy, favoritism, and hidden agendas, I am inclined to agree. You've had many negative posts over the years, but this one is ju...

If you are referring to me, Rico. I know Larry Lyons. He knows me. I have worked with him on various projects over the years. A friend? No. What you say you know presents a flawed view of these issues. You seem to want to personalize this discussion. That happens when posters struggle to make their...

I don't want to see this year's team in the tourney....it would be embarrassing to see what an actual good team would do to us.

Re: Muller and Lyons

Muller is not a great coach, but he’s much better than some on here think. I’m not sure where or when it will all come together for him, but I do believe he will become an excellent coach. I hope it happens while he’s in Normal.
