Re: Make the playoff but please no home games

Robinson has run for 39, 98, and 155 yards the last 3 games in that order. I think he'll be OK carrying the load.

I am happy that after 20 years the program is again putting an emphasis on point guard depth.

Welcome to the Program! We are happy you chose us!
PG's and good kids. Looking at the current team and the kids being signed it looks as if they may have figured out that CHARACTER COUNTS!!!

Re: Davis & Proctor out for season

Feel bad for Davis and Proctor. Bad luck. Hopefully both recover fully. Moving forward this season: Construct a game plan that allows Baltz to have simple reads. Even half field reads. Start the game Saturday by throwing. Get him some good safe looks. Get the ball out quickly and build his confiden...

Re: Make the playoff but please no home games

I would think depth and close games go hand in hand. We have 7 RB's on the roster. I don't know how many are healthy and D1 ready, but it is a very young group. I see nothing wrong with the way they were used and if there is a correlation between the amount of playing time and a knee injury I don't ...

This is unfortunate news. I look forward to the day in about 20 years when schools do the right thing and make a move back to natural grass/dirt to decrease these types of injuries.
Injuries. Little black pellets all over the house. And they won't let you spit seeds. That stuff sucks.

Re: Make the playoff but please no home games

What suggestions do you have to get more people out 5,700 were at the game. The fans at the game were very much into the game. A home game or two would be huge and it helps the program. MSU probably brought less than 100 people. Hoping our team doesn't have a home game because you are worried it lo...

Re: Missouri St.

That it's tough for a freshman to come is week 9 and and play at the starters level. That it's a lot to put on the kid? That stranger things have happened? That we should have realistic expectations? I think it's unfair to him to even bring up Dusty Burke. Dusty was an exception to the rule. My hope...

Re: Thank you, Coach Gillespie!!! WE ARE BACK!

Lineage. Coaching is really hard. Harder I think than most casual fans understand. It's all consuming. Coach Gillespie was born to be a coach. Her grandfather was a truly amazing man. He coached football, basketball and baseball at the college level. Baseball for 58 years. His coaching tree is immen...

Re: Missouri St.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. How are you supposed to give Baltz so much time with the first team when your starter needs the time to fix his game and also to adjust after losing three key receivers? From his inconsistent throws, I think Davis needed more reps in practice. The backups got ...

Re: Missouri St.

They're really going to need to simplify an already simple passing game. It'll be tough. Hopefully a good brace, some duct tape, a little Velcro and a cane and Brady will be good to go. If it's the rookie I'd throw the sink at him. See that's the problem. He doesn't know what he doesn't know, so he ...

Re: Missouri St.

Baltz had two attempted passes and next to no playing time all year. He is the backup so he got likely zero reps in practice with the 1st team and he is thrust into the game. Is he as good as Davis? Of course not at this juncture but it is a bit early I think to make an across the board statement o...
