For a team that has struggled....I have never seen such a schedule where each game seems to build up to the next. New coach...new outlook....go, REDBIRDS.

A weak schedule strength overall, but what do you expect? Coaching staff is walking into a very bare cupboard in terms of experience, production, and results, so this was designed. There will definitely be a chance to see how this team has improved.
This seems like an exelent way to accomplish several objectives. First is appears to put the team in competition that allows for competetiveness. This could be an opportunity to build culture while inserting the style of play. I like how the competition seems tougher at the end of non-con. This could help the team establish an identity in terms of just how competitive they are at that point. It could be fun to watch this process unfold. Good luck lady Redbirds.
