Has anyone heard or seen who is being redshirted or greyshirted this season?

everyone will likely be redshirted .. team is deep everywhere, so no need to play true FR. Even our green OL is tacked 2 deep with upper classmen. No other position group has starter or depth issues.

As for greyshirts, only one name matters ... Kobe Buffalomeat !!!! Might be more, but hard to remember by comparison.

Good find TR. impressive HS resume .. and more impressive that he will have RS pulled as DL .. our DL is stacked.

Arrowhead HS: Three-year letterwinner for head for head coach Fritz Rauch … Wisconsin Football Coaches Association First-Team All-State selection as a senior … honorable mention all-state selection by the Associated Press … named conference defensive player of the year while also earning all-region honors … recorded 156 tackles, seven sacks and 23 tackles-for-loss in final prep season while starting every game … tallied seven sacks as a junior, while earning second-team all-conference honors and helping the team to a 12-2 record and a state runner-up finish … as a sophomore, tallied three sacks and earned honorable mention all-conference honors, as the team finished as the state runner up.

We've had some good ones from Wisconsin, Powell comes in highly decorated. Arrowhead is a premier program in Wisconsin, almost always a factor in the playoffs.

For that matter, Dean Helt played at Waunakee, and that is another top notch football program in Wisconsin (5 state championships since 1999). And the American Legion has a great fish fry on the second Friday of the month from October to April!! :D

I believe Kentre Patterson (WR) was rumored to be in the mix for some playing time. We'll have to see.

Specifically walleye fish fry. 1. Wisconsinians (Wisconsinians? Wisconsinites?) LOVE walleye. 2. I LOVE walleye.

In all seriousness, the fact we are playing only one Freshmen is a sign of how deep we are.

Actually I'd say perch is the "most loved" fish in Wisconsin for fish fry, and cod a close second. Walleye can be had in Wisconsin, but that's really Minnesota's "most loved" fish. Based on a few years of wandering the upper Midwest!!

I think Field of Dreams marketing strategy will apply for fish, same as baseball ... if we fry It, they will come. Putting our WI fans in charge of quality control on this one .. these kids will know a good fish fry.

got yet aother great idea .. might be bit of stretch (by my low standards) .. but I'm for anything that helps Spack with recruiting more WI studs. Going to need to DPDough to step up his game ... wait for it .... Fish Fry Calzone !!!!!

DP Dough .. there's your Friday special ... it will crush it .. let's get it done !

p.s. oh wait .. that may cost us some authentic calzone-eating Chicago area recruits ... let's table it for more thought

Put Asian Carp in it to keep the Chicago area recruits as well.

Was a premier program. 5-5 last year. I watched Muskego beat them by 45 Thursday and Greg Malling is at Occonamwoc. Frtitzy is in trouble.
Powell is a stud.

that could work .. and just to help bring this thread back on original topic ... let's not forget previously floated idea to add Buffalomeat Calzone for our greyshirt Kobe Buffalomeat, his family, and the native american fan base that will soon emerge !!!

appreciate all the ideas .. but I think my work is done here ... possibly overdone, but done nonetheless.

Article in Wednesday's Minneapolis Star-Tribune listed the pre-season HS All Metro Team and included a few MVFC recruits:

6'2, 225 LB Jack Anderson, Holy Angels HS, committed to WIU
6', 175 DB Phoenix Sproles, Cooper HS, committed to NDSU (as a receiver)
6'5 200 WR Garrett Maag, St. Croix Lutheran, committed to North Dakota
6' 185 "athlete" (RB/FS) Mitch Kartes, St. Michael-Albertville, committed to NDSU

FYI
