WOW. Alot of strange stats....
-1- with 9% 3PT FG....2 made out of 22...and Simone Goods actually scored her first career 3pointer...and 1 made by Talbot.
-2- 15/61 FGs....for 24.6%
-3- 64.3 FT%....and Livingston led scorers with 10 points....8/11 from the charity line
-4- Steals, rebounds, TOs looked good in comparison to Valpo.

It was a tough game to watch. With such horrible still surprises me that the BIRDS really played tough to stay close to the end.

The game was extremely physical. I place this issue on typical officiating in women's games....but you could see that both teams really wanted the victory...and Valpo handled their offense better. To think we could have won the game with better FTs 18/28. ... birds.aspx ... 18_ILS.pdf

1.) Green forced it way too much. 3-15. Even getting to the line a few times, that's rough.. Was watching the game and turned to my wife at one point and said we have had 4 possessions and 3 ended in Green forcing a shot she didn't need to. We need players to shoot the ball, but we also have to take smart shots.

2.) Like the men's team, we don't know when to stop shooting 3's. Except Goods going 1-1, the entire team couldn't hit it from beyond the arc.

3.) I was happy with our rebounding and second-chance points.
