Well, looking at his highlights it looks like he can penetrate with either hand (that didn't sound right, but you all know what I mean)

I liked what I saw when I watched his film this morning. I said in another thread he would be an explosive player off the bench. I know Muller said he was looking for a guard that can shoot and Josh certainly fills that role. However, I feel with how fast this all happened, we could be covering for an impeding departure?

Stay tuned...

Well there's the guard who can shoot that Dan was talking about. I think Romine is gone and then one of Chastain, Gassman, or Hein will not be on scholarship

He played two years at Lake Land, so that would make him a junior next year right?

Yea he will be a Jr. I think the confusion is on Verbal Commits it lists him as a sophomore, but if you look it has Clarence as a Freshmen, so it is listing the current year.

With Copeland and JJ the whole guard dynamic on this team just changed dramatically

Long way from home! Amazing how things have changed recruiting from the old days of primarily IL and IN now coast to coast.

That would be my guess. Saw Josh play as a freshman at Lake Land. Seems to have filled out a bit since he was pretty thin. Tells me that HCDM is not really looking for a point guard since Josh is definitely more of a slasher and shooter than a pure ball handler. I know he likes guards that can play multiple positions so would say that is Josh. Swooped in pretty quickly since he only got his release on the 12th.

Lake Land is in Mattoon and he's originally from Indiana, so staying much closer to home with ISU.

Does anyone think the package deal duo may be transferring down to D2 and pehaps closer to Florida? I’m sure my graduate school the Florida Institute of Technology Panthers might be interested. Don’t we now have 15 players for 13 scholarships?

Know how I know this kid is very much committed to this team and program? He unfollowed every coach that wasn't an ISU coach on Twitter. This morning he was following coaches from Murray State, ESTU, Iona, and much more. Crazy how social media is.

Signed with Cal State-Northridge; released from that LOI after they fired head coach Reggie Theus.

A 6'-2" Juco point guard. I wonder if this means anything for Elijah.
