I personally am ok with the Lofton stuff here. He is a former Redbird. And I hope he does well. And it would not surprise me one bit if he plays in the NBA. I thought he was good, really good, even as a Redbird. I always said he needed to get his head screwed on straight, because he was not a good team player, not coachable, and not a team mate when he was here. He messed things up more than he helped. I think the fact that Lofton was so well traveled in college speaks to his issues. Perhaps he has figured it out. And I hope so.

Will had connections. And he knew talent. Not sure he was a great game coach, but he did know how to coach life.
