Chance for the Birds to win their 4th straight and to start Valley play 2-0.

I am interested to see how we start this game. We've gotten better starts on the road this year. Hopefully we can start fast tomorrow.

With the extra time between games I am expecting improved defensive rotation and awareness in man and zone. The practice time over the last week should really benefit TB and EC especially.

Until proven otherwise MY will again be the best player on the floor. That should be the difference.

I will be at this game and I am looking for a statement game for the birds. It would be great to see David and Romine dressed. Something tells me Elijah hit hard over the little break. You can tell he wants to do big things. As was said Milik will be the best player on the floor. I think Fayne has a pretty big game though. ISU blue doesn't have a big that can guard him.

MY is going to give Alize Johnson a run for the money in terms of MVC POY.

Our guards need to stop the penetration of Scott and Barnes. Neither are tall and length could bother their shots if we positioned properly. The trees inside game is lacking for the most part. Fayne will be much more athletic and we should exploit that. Murphy is a big man and if Taylor is left along he may be physically outmatched. The Sycamores played good defense against Valpo forcing lots of turnovers; however, I would say they have been inconsistent at best in the games I have seen.

We should win this game and start 2-0. I only see us losing this game if we can't take care of the ball and are ice cold. They should not be abke to outscore us.

I forgot to mention they have three freshman
( two guards and a big from overseas) that are playing considerable minutes. Add the sophomore Barnes and they should be decent the next two years assuming they continue to add talent around that core.

Come out ready to go, start fast and get it done. Hopefully the guys got some work in over the break and didn't fire down too many cookies and beer & shit. (Like me.) Be aggressive off the glass and hit FT's.

Don’t think this will be good attendance wise. Bitter cold, last NFL Sunday for local teams, NYE. Hoping the team shows up better than fans will.

We will be braving the cold to attend the game as well. Anticipating Christian and/or David playing. Hope to see some intense D and effective offense.
