Wooden mentions the health of the feet, several times in books, in regards to wearing socks properly...and I'll bet there's even a YouTube video about it. It was definitely for blisters/callouses.
Played hundreds and hundreds of baseball games through in season and summer league travel - never had a callous or blister on the ball of my feet from game action. Basketball...had 'em every single year. Some were just mildly irritating. Some were I struggled to walk.
Make a circle with your index finger and thumb. That can be the size of a callous on the balls of your feet. Not some teeny blister.
Regardless...I hope it IS a callous/blister and not a reaggravation of the original injury.

We’re talkin’ blisters? Ever try break dancing at the Poison Apple in Holland with wooden shoes? Me neither, but, ain’t never once heard a Dutchman complain about blisters.
Spread it!
Spread it!
The "I could play D1 basketball with the same blisters that EC has" comments are at the same time humorous and ridiculous. I do, however, share a concern that the real issue is the lack of full healing of the stress fracture. That was my first thought when I saw EC gingerly walk back to the bench following a timeout huddle.

Downloaded Facebook for my Nexus player. Looks like it will be pretty easy this way. Didn't realize how many games were on Facebook.
