The place to talk Redbird Men's Basketball

Need to know how strong the top 7 or 8 players are as much as the starting 5. Players 6 and 7 can log as many prime minutes as players 4 and 5. Baring injuries need a strong 7, at the bare minimum, and ideally a strong 8 players that are all interchangeable.
Right now the top 8 in no particular order are; Evans, Fayne, Milik, Boogie, Romine, David, Jerron, and Madison.ChiRedbirdfan wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2017 12:11 amNeed to know how strong the top 7 or 8 players are as much as the starting 5. Gassman is ready to break through just needs to take that next step. Kid is a hard worker. Jerron Martin is coming along well. This is a situation where the 5th year grad transfer rule works in our favor. It is nice to have someone come in, learn the terminology and be on track with everyone who was here all summer. Taylor is a scorer and with Gassman is one of the best shooters on the team, with the most variety of range. He can score on the inside and outside. He just needs to bulk up, which takes time. If he was 220-230 (which he should be by the time he is done here), he'll be a great Redbird. The end of that top 8 is not set in stone and I'm sure will change over the next month. I would say the top 6 would be Milik, Phil, Key, Boog, David, and Romine.
Right now, we have 6 of your wanted 8, with another month before the season starts. That's not a bad place to be.
