What about a grad transfer guard this year to help with depth?

We need a big 6-8/250 pounder. That’s been the missing piece for years.

Maybe it's your crappy eyeglasses. Give it up, Cali. Kid's a physical beast . . . and doesn't look like he's coming out of high school. I think you're just looking for a reason to be pissed off at all things Redbird Basketball.

Hell yeah. I am pissed off. I see a program with all the potential in the world and always the bridesmaid.

U know to Cali's point - we r due for some good karma
since everything pretty much goes the wrong way. Transfers, injuries
and the challenges with being an MVC affiliate. I do think Dan is a solid
guy to run our program and happy we have him but he's do some good luck
to come his way before long.

ISU hasn't had a decent inside presence since Leroy Watkins.

Dinma Odiakosa would disagree

Dinma for one year was good I guess. 12.8 pts , 8.7 reb. No other stats his senior season were all that great. Other than his senior season 8.7 was his highest points average. So, no, I wouldn't list him as a great inside presence. He was just not as bad as the rest of the bad.

Looking at Watkins stats he wasn't great either. When was the last really good inside presence?

I did like Jackie. That my be it since the Kennedy administration. He had a couple of dominating seasons and had a knack for blocks. Also, better rebounding numbers than both. I think Leroy is better than his numbers suggest because Jackie and Dinma benefited from some weak teams. Leroy had company on the court with him. But Jackie definitely was good.

The best part of Dinma was how bad he was his Freshman year to how much we relied on him his last year. He couldn't catch the basketball his freshman year. But man he had 11 double doubles in his last season.

Dinma and Dilligard were two extremely underuntilized players during the Moser era. Those teams truly should have been much better than they were with the talent that they had.

Dilly’s biggest problem was that he had a hard time hitting the backboard let alone scoring from the FT line. Both he and Dinma are also two super friendly guys and good ambassadors for the program to this day.

I believe Donna only played his freshman year for porter. He redshirted the second year and Jank and the rest of us thanked him.

I am not 100% sure on this but think it is right.

Take Payton off your Matrix for 19-20. He decommited from ISU today.
Why did he even verbally commit 4 months (ish) ago. Stupid!
Makes me already think he will play for probably 3 different schools before he graduates college.
Haha
