Re: UNI @ ISU 2/17

With Keyshawn back and being at home I think we can win our next two games if the effort is there and the turnovers are 13 or under.

Give extra possessions to UNI and Drake and you will be going down.

Re: @ Bradley

There's a huge difference between allowing an assistant to move up and actively helping him leave. If I had a good employee that wanted to go elsewhere that's up to him but I'm not going to help him leave. Then you are a bad manager and don't care about that employee. A leader helps develop their t...

Re: @ Bradley

When did YAK become John Wooden? I guess I missed all those State Championships he won at Joliet West. I think he’s being overrated by some on here. :text-+1: :text-+1: :text-+1: :text-+1: :text-+1: Way overrated. Couple things here. Didn’t Muller make Yak Associate Head Coach? Muller thought he wa...

Re: @ Bradley

I remind everyone that this team (that is still going to have a winning season) does not have a single senior on it and has played no less than 5 players who are in their first year of D1 ball in their regular rotation. As much as you guys hate the "development takes time" conversation, it really r...

Re: @ Bradley

Bottom line for me with this team so far is that Muller allows them to jack tons of 3s every game and there is only 1 good 3PFG shooter on the team and everyone in the gym knows that. There is no way this team makes enough 3s THREE GAMES IN A ROW is St Louis to win the tournament. The teams obvious ...

They won’t back out. The AD is the one who responded. It was good PR for him. He won’t undo that.

Re: @ Bradley

feel like this game could be one of those we are down 32-6 with 5 mins left in 1st half. And we don’t score 50 pts.

Re: At Valpo

Don’t think Key and Fayne will be back before Arch. And hard to expect them to start playing in STL and play very well when game speed will be even higher. Seems like a real stretch to me. I would expect we’ll lose our first game in STL regardless of whether it’s Thursday or Friday. The other player...

Re: vs SIU 2/8

Of course we caught a break. That's the only way we can win games right V-boy? It's not so much us winning games but the other team losing, right? Most people would say we did a better job defending Fletcher before and after his injury. I think that's probably the prudent POV. I didn’t say that’s h...

Re: vs SIU 2/8

Didn’t he go nuts at the end of the first game? When SIU was down and he helped them back, scoring most of his pts in the 2nd half? My main point was we caught a break. Some 6 exchanges later, I’m gonna stick with that POV. Of course we caught a break. That's the only way we can win games right V-b...

Re: Phil Fayne injury update

You don’t like seeing guys injured but this certainly presents opportunity for David, Will, Taylor to step up. Those 3 guys had 36 pts against SIU. Need to keep stepping up.

Same for Elijah.

Re: vs SIU 2/8

The game had to be stopped so he could be helped off the floor. Are you sure he was 100% when he came back in? He had 26 pts in the first game. He wasn't much of a factor before he got hurt regardless. He played the entire first half, 20 full minutes, he was 1-3 from the field with 3 points. Before...

Re: vs SIU 2/8

Fletcher being out a big chunk of 2nd was big. Fletcher missed 3:16 of the 2nd half because of his injury. When he went out ISU was up 5. When he came back in, ISU was up 2. The game had to be stopped so he could be helped off the floor. Are you sure he was 100% when he came back in? He had 26 pts ...

Re: vs SIU 2/8

Great win for ISU, I just don't understand how we can only have 4800 fans at the game. ISU has 20k students and the B/N area has a population of 130k. I'm not sure if that falls on the AD or someone in the marketing dept. Hopefully the more we win, more students will support the program. No one fro...

Re: vs SIU 2/8

Surprised SIU did not zone us or at least change up defenses on Clarance. They just let him play 1on1, which is what he wanted. It was fun to watch him get that runout and dunk. Fletcher being out a big chunk of 2nd was big. He killed us in Carbonhole. Best part of the game is Clarance confidence go...
