Re: CBI (2019): power 5 re-appearance

I think Muller, the players, and most fans are okay with closing the book on this season. Good for the CBI to get some p6's back in. It was cool having Texas A&M at Redbird a few years ago. I also think if Muller had intentions of playing more games, he wouldn't have let all the players go home for ...

Re: Copeland, Hein out 2019

At this point Cope seems to be intending on return. He's in California with Milik on Spring Break and seems pretty excited about going to Italy and the Virgin Island next season.

$$$ is the only language Learfields speaks.
You can say that again. I just felt the survey was clear to speak more to creating a report for the current and future sponsors of ISU athletics, but they framed it as a satisfaction survey. Just my opinion.

Re: Muller seeks to restore 'toughness, effort'

Unfortunately, I think the lack of effort on the defensive end paired with shots not falling because cyclical. One caused the other all season. Shots not falling led to poor defense, giving up a bucket led to a rushed shot ("you don't get to score on me without me scoring back on you,"). I am not j...

Re: What Style of Game do you want to see?

I know you have said you go to practice. Do you know were the guys sitting out running "our stuff" aka the Duhon offense/what we went to later in the season? Or were they running scout stuff most of the time? From what I saw, primarily scout, few reps on the other side. Essentially, there was no re...

So, does Gonzaga go to being On the Bubble with the loss to St. Mary's?
I mean technically but....yeah I think they'll be ok.
It was mostly sarcastic and referencing the lack of MM at-large bids.

Re: What Style of Game do you want to see?

I would like to win games 63-50 with an opponent's field goal percentage around 30% or less. I never want to see a game like ours @ Belmont again where both teams were just trying to outscore the other team. ILST needs some established scorers before they decide to focus solely on the offense, like ...

Re: Muller seeks to restore 'toughness, effort'

Muller mentioned effort and playing hard as an issue multiple times this season. But he couldn't keep harping on it or eventually the team would just quit on them because the core of the team, outside of Phil, Hein, Chas, and Key just seemed to be soft and not like to hear it. I understand why Mulle...

Re: Lyons on bribery admission scandal

That same Coaches show session there were other questions that were basketball related that weren’t asked. If those questions are too depressing to ask, that explains why our program is in shambles. Again. These shows are not meant to be adversarial. You can always go to one of the shows and ask yo...

Re: ISU Fan Survey

It seems to me this survey is less about fan satisfaction and more about reporting to sponsors "how ISU is doing," or "what our fans are likely to buy if you put our logo on it." Very sales-y to me.

Don't shoot the messenger but I just received this message: Josh Jefferson might also be out. I talked to his mom on Friday night and she was sharing the same information. It was mostly about the intimidation tactics of Muller. If they make a mistake they are out. Do with it what you will I'm start...

I'd be interested in why he missed so many games. Injury or attitude related? Either way.... i know taking risks is important but we've had enough injury prone players lately.

Rey has big potential. Get him to a Big Man camp where somebody can spend the summer developing him. He looks to have a great attitude and a high end motor I. Terms of energy and love for the game. He is physical enough to be a presence. Brian Reese built Phil Fayne. Why would Rey have to go to an ...

Yes. I'd also look at INST assistant Marcus Belcher to be a likely candidate to join him.
