Re: Josh Jefferson

Josh should teach everyone else his shooting technique which is picture perfect It looks like he actually concentrates when shooting...that might be the key. He's pretty deadly in the shoot arounds before the game too...that's usually a good sign. I remember watching Elijah miss 3 pt shot after 3 p...

Just glancing at Southerns schedule and interesting they are playing Buffalo twice. Lost to them at Southern when they were #25 and now they go out there this weekend to face them at #14.
How can Buffalo be so much better than us? Maybe that's a good topic for a new thread

Yeah, check out the second play. He does have more of an edge rusher build.

Re: MVFC with two in Semi's

I wish SDSU could play them in Frisco instead. I wouldn't pick anybody to beat the Bison in Fargo. SDSU played them tough there this year and still fell short. I kinda feel like they'll lose by a couple of TD's this time ( of course I'm not taking any bets!)

And btw we've also played regular season games in the snow, slush, sleet and freezing rain at Hancock. Sometimes you get to experience all 4 in the same exact game. I always wondered how Brady would deal with the cold weather up here, him being from the south. I doubt he ever played in those condit...

Re: Brady Davis

He still could be great for us. His accuracy needs to be more like 61%. Looks like he ended the year at around 55%, which I thought would have been lower. But he didn't seem to throw a bunch of picks. I think he has the potential to use his legs more next year. He just looks like he could be really ...

Re: Shox thumped by Oklahoma

A down year for the shox is the nit. Im being serious. That must be nice. Marshall is a douche but he's a good coach and the game isn't passing him by. A lot of people left all at once. Trasfers, graduates, foregoing eligibility. And, they'll still make the nit with a bare cupboard. Considering how...

Re: vs. Ole Miss 12/8/18

Idk about you guys but seeing all those players in street clothes on the bench makes me so mad I have beat that drum before about not having enough available players. Makes sense if you are in totally rebuild mode but not when you think you have an NCAA tournament worthy team. The upside is they wi...

Doubt very much we will see an inflatable dome. Or anything else. :eusa-think: It is extremely evident that this athletic dept needs to be purged. When you're using Mankato State as the model for what Illinois State should follow, that's an indication that it's hit rock bottom. :text-+1:

Re: Redbirds @ UIC - 12/5 6PM

I’ve always been okay with Muller taking some risks. I think he needs to, at this level, to be successful. I think it’s acceptable risk to have transfers sitting out, and preferable to taking players he may have perceived to be less talented than those players. I don’t think he turned away any 3 st...

Re: ISU Defense

I wish they kept stats on what percent of the opponents shots are layups or dunks. I bet we're close to the bottom there. Also, what percent of our alley opps are we making this year...pretty low percent. Seems like 1 for 10 from the games I've seen.

Tinsley has two free throw attempts FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR???
I could get to the line more than him. What is he even doing out there besides missing 3 pt shots and playing lousy defense?

Re: Redbirds @ UIC - 12/5 6PM

The Ohio Valley just called about wanting us for a buy game next season. :text-+1: What makes me most depressed about this season is we don't get a high draft pick for next year .... sigh. A dumpster fire is an understatement...more like a wrecked train that was carrying flaming dumpsters. Maybe Da...

"One thousand fans will also receive a Dan Muller Bitmoji bobblehead. " You think they intentially left off first 1000 fans? Nope, a few years ago I got to a football game bright and early so I could get my Brock Spack bobblehead...but all I got was some stupid coupon. The last guy to arrive in our...
