Re: Spack Show

We score a quick TD and nobody will be thinking about altitude. The most important thing is to start well when you're not tired.

Re: Here we go again...

MY will be in great shape this season if he plays ( running arena stairs does that) I heard that when they screw up in practice Dan makes them run to the top of the arena and back. I think they have to do it in under 10 seconds (or they do it again). 10 seconds seems a little severe, but then again...

Re: Redbirds - Rams predictions

If Brady Davis had another year under our system I would like our chances better. I think he might struggle in this game. So I'm picking CSU. But the good news is that I'm not that good at picking games.

Re: CSU game and TV

For what it's worth, Arkansas got smacked by North Texas this week 44-17 at home. That devalues Colorado State's win over Arkansas to me. In fairness, North Texas is 3-0 and has whooped SMU, Incarnate Word, and Arkansas. I just hope one of these ways works so I can watch it! Brock said on his show ...

Re: CSU vs UF

We need to use our depth to combat the altitude. I'm glad we got a good bunch of RB's. Just keep shuffling people in and out. Seems like we have good depth at other positions as well, like LB.

Re: Here we go again...

Oddly enough, that story - if relatively true - is believable. Anyone who went to ISU has a party bus story or 20, so kids stumbling out of them and running into shit or falling down is completely commonplace. I did it myself numerous times  Probably many of you have too. But the questions tha...

Re: Here we go again...

So he had impromptu access to a party bus? From my experience, when a party bus is rented they don't make you provide your own driver. Wild story. I heard from students about this party bus. It's a private enterprise thing. The guy shuttles students back and forth between downtown Bloomington and t...

Story sounds great and believable (really, it does) until you get to the big curve in the road regarding the two paasengers calling the cops.

And if those two were smashed then they would hardly make good witnesses in court.

Re: #25

Best thing Spack can do is divy up those carriers, so both have fresh legs and are less banged up come playoff. This is same thing NDSU does every year ... bring at least 2 RBs along at same time. Both will benefit when we get to playoffs. Agree. RB is the best place to divvy up time. They take a b...

Re: Here we go again...

My guess is the car was caught on camera and belonged to one of the passengers who wasn't driving because they were too drunk. The cops got the license plate from the camera, ran it, got an address, and visited the passenger. The passenger not wanting to get in trouble for something he didn't do na...

Re: SIU athletics $26 million in the hole

Retention rate is every bit as important as the number of incoming freshman. Right now they are looking at ways to increase the retention rate. If they get that better they wouldn't need as many freshman. I think Mueller would agree with that as far as it relates to his team. We don't have enough fr...

Re: Here we go again...

Why doesn't the coach just tell him the only way he stays on the team is if he drives his car home and leaves it there with his mom? It's pretty obvious by now he's not mature enough to handle that kind of responsibility. That would be a win win for everybody. Not bad, and I'll raise ya one. Redbir...

Re: Here we go again...

I'll tell ya the point of the story I'm most intrigued by: Why did those two passengers make a report?? (and all the questions between the lines about those 2 passengers) The truth and entirety of the story lies right there. My bet is those two passengers had a conscience. If both of them knew the ...

Re: Here we go again...

To save you all the research, Boogie was arrested for domestic battery, the charge was dropped and he pled to disorderly conduct and got court supervision. This was a 2017 case. That one really shocked me. Boogie seems like one of the most polite and decent people on the team, but that just shows I...

Re: 2019 - Marquise Kennedy, 6-1, PG, Chicago Brother Rice

I see Kennedy heading to either Loyola (where he has 2 AAU buddies already committed to) or to Wichita State ISU, Tulsa and Florida State would round out top 5 Hoping I am wrong I was told by someone very close to the Br. Rice program that Loyola wasn't a serious contender and that it was between W...

Re: #25

Coprich definitely had more speed, but Robinson isn't exactly slow. I wonder how many 40+ yard gains Robinson has over the last few years? Seems like a bunch. Robinson has some deception to his speed, probably because he's so big. Coprich would have been a perfect compliment to either one of our cur...

Yeah, and the weather turned about to be pretty good actually. I was ready for a drenching, but never had to pull out the ole poncho.
