Re: Arch Madness No Longer at Scottrade Center

Umm St. Louis is not exactly a tourist's paradice. Not sayin, just sayin. First Thursday-Sunday in March in St Louis, I can: Golf (without freezing), Watch MVC Tournament, Golf again & Watch more MVC Tournament, Visit Science Center & the St Louis Zoo (without freezing),Watch more MVC Tournament. A...

Re: Zenger out at Kansas

You do realize that Rick was run out of both West Point & Bloomington...right? I believe that most AD’s will get run out of somewhere at some point of their careers. And by the way, Rick Greenspan did not get run out of Normal. If my old mind remembers correctly, he hired Kevin Stallings & Todd Ber...

Rick Greenspan—Army and Indiana. Not my favorite but clearly had success post ISU. You do realize that Rick was run out of both West Point & Bloomington...right? Re: Arch Madness No Longer at Scottrade Center

Moline? WTF I would prefer Indy over StL. Indy does a great job with those type of events. Rotate it around would be my preference.... StL Indy and Chi I just thought it would make it cheaper, and maybe draw more fans... they do have a 12,000 seat arena, but yeah, it's not exactly a tourist's parad...

Re: Eight-Man Rotation?

This isn’t easy! I’ll say by league play it looks a little something like this: Key Copeland Milik Abdou Phil Boogie Jefferson Rey I honestly don’t know how he limits it to 8 with the talent in the building . Elijah Taylor If Elijah’s offseason work and competition with the Swedish national team pa...

Eight-Man Rotation?

Dan likes an 8-Man rotation. What does that look like right now? And who would be the next two off the bench when necessary?

Starters:
Keyshawn
Zach
Milik
Boogie
Phil

5-8 ?

Re: Muller's Summer Press Conference

It's too bad Keith Fisher can't play this year. I think the only weakness is if Phil gets hurt. Other than that I expect us to rain 3's on other teams. I'm picking Josh Jefferson as somebody that will surprise us... I have enough confidence in Dan’s recruiting that I am not worried that Big Rey wil...

Re: Loyola Ramblers

I just find it funny that we all automatically think we will be better than a Final Four team who returns the league FOY and MVP. If we were returning Paris Lee and someone said they would be better than us we'd all laugh at them. But hey, let the kool aid flow free! I guess we will know in March. ...

Love watching his talent & enthusiasm on the court-- & hoping he gets to wear his dance shoes in March -his senior season as a a Redbird
Would like to see Birds get a game @ Stanford so he can play in front of his family & Friends (also a game @ Miami for Key).

Re: 2018-19 MVC Predictions:

I could see Vslpo in 4th place next year. IMO they will be competitive in their home gym and should pick off some road wins against lower division Valley teams. Don’t know what to think of Bradley because they lost a really good player in Thomas. I predict that Valparaiso will beat Loyola at least ...

Re: Never too early... 18-19 Non-conf schedule

Valpo a bit of a sleeper. 6'8" Transfer Ryan Fazekas could be as good as an MVC first teamer? He certainly will be one of the best shooters in the league...health issues held him back while at Providence so hard to know how good he will be. The transfer year sitting out may have been what the docto...

He doesn't have to be granted another year by the NCAA. Next year is the 4th year of his 5 year clock.

Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
So he is a Senior with Junior Eligibility. Same as Hein. So academically we have Six Seniors playing this year. Eligibility wise, Four Seniors.

Isn't Copeland a junior?
Academically he is a senior. Two years JC & sat out 2017-18 due to not qualifying academically fall semester. Hopefully NCAA will grant him another year of eligibility.

Loyola Ramblers

Thought I would start a thread for those who seam to have a man crush on the Ramblers. You can now have your own thread to slobber all over Loyola and tell each other how great and dominating they are going to be in 2018-19 and all the season going forward.

Re: Bulletin board material

AND Loyola made that run with no prior experience. How did they do that. 2018-19 will be about this Redbird team, and they do have more experience coming back than Loyola. Look at the Bears. They made it to a Super Bowl. Didn’t help them the next year, or since. Illinois State will probably start Fi...

Re: 2019 - Chris Payton, 6-7/205, SF, Bloomington, IL

Not sure about NCAA rules on recruits playing against current college players during the summer. Did Payton play in pickup games against the Birds last summer? If so, will he be doing the same this summer? Would really help to get him close to the recruits we have coming in this year, which could h...

Final grades are due by teachers today, though most (if not all) of the players finished finals a week early, two years ago. Hopefully we have what the rest of the MVC is calling "The Redbird Logjam" figured out today.
Well it is Tuesday!
