Re: Closing the Book on 2018-19, Looking towards 2019-20

Wasn't aware they were having this event. I went last year, but had not heard that an event (or date) had been set for this year. Maybe more people would attend if they were aware it was happening (or maybe the athletic department only wants a select few). I'm not sure they had a public event last ...

Re: Jefferson Transferring

Maybe between Copeland, Boyd, and Chastain, JJ’s minutes were going to be a lot less than if he moved on to another school.

Re: Dana Ford about to make a splash

So you're suggesting every turnover, missed shot, foul, etc. is the coach's fault for not being a perfect recruiter. Got it. Thanks, Muller. No. If you read my post correctly I said it wasn’t all on the players. I just pointed out that if it was all on the players and they just made stupid decision...

Re: Dana Ford about to make a splash

Dan will be looking up at Dana in the standings until Dana decides to move on from MSU. The fact Dana already beat Dan in the standings in 2018-2019, when ISU returned everyone and Dana took over a mess....hard to believe. Don’t know about the future, but as for this year the only reason Dana finis...

Re: Vidette - Student Attendance

They are flipping the benches? Yes, so you don't have to go to the opposite end to get to your own locker room. Will be interesting to see how many people they lose over the new donation prices. It is now pretty pricey for season tickets in the lower bowl for low-major basketball. Will be hard to t...

Holy spit. Heard about it didn't realize it was Mike. Were you there?? Birdlife, Mullins is a longtime player in that market. So we resort to punching coaches and/or directors when you're frustrated?? (BTW perhaps you are right there might be some sort of backstory to this whole thing. ChiRedbird f...

Really hoping this kid signs with the birds. It would be interesting to see what he could do after he gets in our weight program.
If we could just beat out Western Michigan, Canicius, Alabama State, San Houston State, and Tennessee-Martin, we can get him.

Once saw a question years ago, “How do you hold Michael Jordan under 20 points?”
Let Dean Smith coach him!

Re: Scholarship Matrix

Again, Gassman got a scholarship in 17/18. Did he not have one this past season? I've never seen anything that says he didn't, so until that point or he leaves, I have to assume he's on scholarship, we assume every one else stays on scholarship, so he gets the same benefit of the doubt. If the 13 p...

That is a good addition 6’9” and a big body. He has strayed at times going back to aau days. I think drake is the environment best for him. If his head is now on right he will be a solid contributor. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/04/sports/ncaa-final-four-graduate-transfers.html I like this change to the rule. Graduate within a year or lose a scholarship. I hope this passes. "In two weeks, the N.C.A.A.’s primary legislative body, the Division I Council, will vote on a measure that could sever...

Re: D1 Transfers of Interest

Bishop was bright spot on Kangaroo roster. Watched UMKC as they hosted/throttled by New Mexico State. Tried very hard to do more with less (Aggies were good and Chris Jans has kept the Aggies rolling (would make for a good home/home non-conference series). There is bad blood with Jans. He wouldn’t ...
