Re: Sports Betting and College Athletics

I think it is important to start a discussion about how the NCAA and schools are going to handle the new Supreme Court ban-lifting of sports betting across the country. While I don't think the pro ranks will be affected much, this might become the absolute wild west when it comes to college athleti...

There was a Joe "Rock" Washington on the football team. I think he was a QB. Not a big guy - less than 6' tall.

About 5 years ago Fred Points told me he's a high school principal in Chicago. Very tough guy.
The Alumni magazine says he lives in Chicago, but it doesn't say what he is doing now.

??? First to be drafted to NBA? Must have been before Doug Collins. Then says played for 2 NFL teams.

Was it an April Fools Day edition?
His name doesn't show as a basketball letter winner either.

? about a former player from the 70's

It say's he played men's basketball at ISU; was the first Redbird to be drafted to the NBA; played for the Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Falcons. I have a few men's basketball...

Re: SIU athletics $26 million in the hole

SIU is also projecting a freshman class in the fall of a little less than a thousand students.

Re: Taylor looking to transfer from Evansville

I would have thought for an in conference transfer he'd have to pay his way. Or Evansville would have to sign a waiver to let him play here. Which i wouldn't do if i were the Aces. But I don't know the rules as well as others on here. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk Is that the case for a grad...
