Re: At Indiana State 1/20/18

Beyond the loss of valuable playing time for ISU's leading playmaker on a team that is desperate for playmakers.....once again a game starts or is played with the entire ISU team's focus being distracted by the Muller/MY circus. I am absolutely for discipline and enforcing rules but this game time ...

Evans

Not the same player as the one before the knee injury. Anyone know if he is still bothered by it or is it a different injury?

Re: At Indiana State 1/20/18

I wish we would have brought the right Evans today. This Marshawn Evans didn't look at all like Keyshawn Evans. I think next time coach should play Keyshawn. I did like the play off that N-Jay kid though at the beginning, pair him with David and talk about length. Phil fine had some moments too.

Re: At Indiana State 1/20/18

Speaking of energy, Zach Copeland seems to have a bunch of it during games. One thing I noticed while he was in the stands the first semester was how into the game was. He was into the game. I remember when McIntosh and Hawkins were sitting there they were on their phones the entire time.

Re: Redbird Arena Renovation

As long as the moat is gone the atmosphere will improve. I like Butler's arena. The seats are right in top of the court and it gets loud there even when they don't sellout.

Re: Redbird Arena Renovation

Question: If they were going to need to move a season or a few games from RBA to complete a renovation, what about bringing games back to Horton for a month, 2 month or season? We have already spoken about the smaller crowds, well if you could rebuild the grandstand and play some games in there, it...

Re: At Indiana State 1/20/18

Looking for continued improvement from Elijah and David. I think Madison confess back and helps control their two guards. I think Evans is almost back to 100% so that should help as well.

Re: Redbird Arena Renovation

Purdue has an app that you download and it controls your phones flash for pregame. They do strobe effects and can chase the lights around bowl.

Re: Redbird Arena Renovation

"ISU Athletic Director Larry Lyons said the seats located in the lower bowl are starting to break from wear-and-tear." LOL, you can start by getting all the fat ass blue hairs to stand up to cheer once in a while to relieve the stress the seats are taking. Seriously though, look at a place like Cam...

Re: The valley

I don't think anyone will be in line for an at large from the Valley. Though as a conference I think we have some great OOC wins, no one team has done enough this year to merit an at large. If Loyola hadn't have dropped games to Milwaukee and Boise St, I'd say they'd have an outside shot, but as of...

Re: Redbird Arena Renovation

How about some hand rails in the upper bowl? Been in the upper bowl every season since it opened with my father who is now 83. I make a living in the world of Safety so I'm a little jaded but I watch several of our older fans precariously trying to navigate their way down. I agree with this. If add...

Re: Redbird Arena Renovation

This is great news. The cement moat needs to go. We need to sell beer at the games as well like Southern. I love the idea of enhancing the game day atmosphere.

The valley

Loyola is playing really really well. Now that they are back being healthy that team is scary. I wonder if they continue on this trend and dominate the rest of the valley but lose in St Louis if they would get an At Large look. Missouri State looks like us even with all of that talent. They look lik...

Re: Gargoyles @ Redbirds 1-17-18 6 p.m.

Without Wichita, it’s scary that one of these teams is going to represent the MVC in the Big Dance. It’s gonna be blow out city. Would like to see how some of our guys match up against real D1 athletes. Well we beat ole Miss and South Carolina. I would say they have some D1 talent. Loyola went into...
