Recruiting talk starts about 1:10 into the video. Chris says he wants to decide in the fall. Illinois State still very much in the picture.
Good to hear.

Re: Elijah Clarance-Swedish National Team

Incidentally, there are a couple nice right-handed finishes in the highlights. Yes, he needs to work on it, but it’s not like he can’t go right. 3:50 one was nice...but if I'm The Valley(or his competition in practice), I'm overplaying his left hand substantially until he shows me something...repea...

Alas, EC did not win recognition . . . And the FIBA U20 European Championship 2018 MVP is... Yovel Zoosman – FIBA U20 European Championship MVP! He was not named to the the "All Star Five" FIBA U20 European Championship All-Star Five Mate Kalajzic (CRO) Kostja Mushidi (GER) Yovel Zoosman (ISR) Deni ...

Re: Elijah Clarance-Swedish National Team

Sweden was ice cold. EC and one other player took 30 (15 each) of the team's 64 shots and made 15. The rest of the team was 7-34. Their normal 3-pt specialist was 1-9 from 3. Elijah was7-8 from the line, so that's a good sign. I didn't see the game, so don't know if Greece just played better D or Sw...

Another huge dunk for Elijah. He has 14 of his teams 19 first quarter points. Romania is bad.

If he has the scorer mentality (not saying that he can't be a good playmaker, I think he can be) but would HCDM play him more off the ball?
Isn't the rumor that MY will play the point? To me that effectively means KE and EC will play off the ball more than the point.

Re: Elijah Clarance-Swedish National Team

EC led the team in points, boards, assists, and steals (and to be fair, turnovers). That's pretty good. Couple tweets from a European scout. And I agree with his comment about EC needing to control his own motor. Needs to be a little more patient, not rush so much. Also needs to fully embrace the de...

:text-+1: :text-+1: :text-+1: :text-+1: :text-+1: :text-+1: I watched the Serbia replay and could not agree more. The kid has a lot of potential but he still is so raw especially when finishing. I saw some airball shots via driving to the basket and did not notice him being double teamed at anytime...

Court supervision for reckless driving case.

Does that mean Pollard will have to supervise him when on the court?

Re: Elijah Clarance-Swedish National Team

There is a lot of Kool-Aid being drank here in my opinion. I've watched both games so far and while Elijah has had some great highlight moments, I still find myself pretty frustrated watching his game. The positives are he is lightning fast, looks good going to the hoop for the most part and is ver...

I put Chris Payton in the same category as Justin Dentmon, Nic Moore, and Reggie Lynch; Use Illinois State until something better comes along. JMO
Chris didn't sign an LOI. Those guys did. HUGE difference IMO.
