Re: MBB vs WBB what a stark difference

Gillespie took a team from rock bottom and built them up. Muller took a championship team and took it to rock bottom. 1.) But don’t you have to give him credit for building that championship team too? 2016-2017 wasn’t the greatest because we didn’t make the NCAAs but that was a heck of a team and a...

I bet Muller was responsible for his teamates that had injuries too. Those guys were never injured before they started playing with him. He also did a terrible job of preparing Tom Richardson to be a head coach. Sad. But at least ratings are up
Muller's responsible for Frank leaving, too.

Re: 2020 Grad Transfer Interest

In reviewing the current list of available bigs (PF, C) who are grad transfers, I found very little to get excited about. I limited my search to guys who were either 6’9”+ or 6’7”/6’8” and 230+. Almost all of them seem to be transferring so they can actually see the floor, many not seeing the floor ...

Wichita State just picked up a commit from a 4-star grad transfer PG, Alterique Gilbert from UConn.

Juco Jordan Guest , 6-9/220, PF, Tallahassee CC http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/jordan-guest Doesn't look like we're done for 2020 . . . Out of curiosity Bird Friend, how can you tell who Belcher’s new follows are? I’m still all in for adding a big, especially a low post, efficient scorer. For...

Re: Wichita Transfers

He wants to show people he can still play . . . but he didn't show Mullins he could play last year. I'm guessing Davis wants to put up numbers and Mullins wasn't going to give the kid a blank check.

She's a 20-footer. Doesn't look bad from 20 feet! Chicago-market. UofI campus. Potential for lots of exposure. Plenty of diamonds in the rough in the area. Looks like she should be a winner! Get up close and you see the lack of consistent winning and it's like...hmmmn. Not just occasionally. It's b...

`Didn't Williams transfer to Oklahoma State, or am I wrong?

Cartmill's pass to Muller in 1998 Ncaa one of the sweetest passes I can remember
Yes. After Williams frosh year, he left to go play where he had wanted to play all along.

Re: Wichita Transfers

Good post. I think you hit the nail on the head as far as the AAU and the difference between MM recruits and P5 recruits. I think Gonzaga is the outlier and I think Wichita was as well. When Wichita was in the Valley, they went a 5 year stretch with 2 or 3 NBA talent guys on their roster. Baker and...

Williams = frosh; Bryson = frosh, plus played with broken leg all season; Cartmill was always better off bench; Watkins was always a garbage man. We lost Muller, Smiley, Hill, Gibbons, and Schaefbaur (our top 5 players from previous TWO seasons). Per usual, rico(not really)hill, your basketball acui...
