Re: NCAA corruption

LOL @ HCGM "it's a sad situation obviously"... yet I'm going to make a joke about bringing back a player who's been named in this scandal for a national championship game and laugh about it with another coach. GM is a piece of trash. If you didn't think he was when he was threatening and chest bump...

Yes, definitely a good win!!! Good to see Fayne playing and making free throws.

Drake missing free throws was the difference.
Agreed. Timmer missed a bunch. Caught a break there for sure.

Re: Bulldogs @ Redbirds 2-21-18**

Good W That was a very hard fought game. Both teams played hard. Medved is a good coach I think. Great to see Phil out there. Key and MY were really good. Hopefully the flu bug doesn't bite anyone else. Really solid job protecting home court and Drake did a lot to spoil it. Darn entertaining game.

Re: OT: Former Players

Bears will not pick-up the 2018 option for guard Josh Sitton. This should only help Cam Lee as he tries to impress the new coaching staff in an effort to make the 53-man roster this August. With Cam having tackle-length arms and with the Bears employing one of the most respected and highly thought-o...

Bulldogs @ Redbirds 2-21-18**

I like the Birds at home to get some measure of revenge from the pecker-slapping they endured in Des Moines.

Birds 77
Bulldogs 67

I think MW will be player of the game as he shuts down Reed Timmer

Re: Article: Wichita State made the right choice to leave the Valley

At least 3 AAC teams, including CIncy are working on getting into a P5 conference. If that happens as they wish, that would change the complexion of Wichita's decision. This Wichita has maxed out. Without football.....only so far they can go. IMO it was a knee-jerk reaction to leave the Valley with...

Re: MVC Game 16

I want to read about the MSU game. They came close... Looking like Illinois State & Bradley destined for the 4/5 game at 2:30 I believe if missouri state beats bradley Wednesday then missouri state would have the tie breaker based off of rpi. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk I'd rather ...

Re: UNI @ ISU 2/17

But that’s basically what this statement conveys. That he can never be what he could have been. No. It really doesn't say that at all. It says and means exactly what it says and means. He will be playing catch up. That's what I said and that's what I meant. Still cloudy? Can't help you if you are. ...

Re: UNI @ ISU 2/17

Seems like a cop out. So the only way for a player to reach their potential is to play an injury and adversity free career? Not at all what I said. Missing time, especially as a freshman, makes reaching potential much harder than it is already. Can it be done? Yes. But it's much more difficu...

Re: MVC Game 16

Agree Cooksey. I hope we play them again and destroy them by 20 or more. I’ll say it one more time. Kennell, Hodgson, and Bar would be hard pressed to see playing time at virtually any other school in the Valley. Darrell Brown is not the point guard I would choose to lead a team. With the same play...

Re: UNI @ ISU 2/17

EC lost critical development time with the injury. I said it at the time that this would be more or less a 'lost' season for him after missing all that time. Nothing I've seen makes me think otherwise. Very similar to Key losing most of his freshman season. It's a shame. Basically he's playing catc...

Copeland and Chastain

Does anyone have any info on how these two are doing in practice? I'm excited to see them next year. I think both will make an impact.

Re: MVC Game 16

What a melt down by PU BU!!! BU was up 60-57 - Valpo went on a huge run - after a break away slam dunk by Valpo to go up 75-60 - Wardle goes out onto the court and says something to the trailing ref - who instantly gave him a Technical - very strange timing for a "T" - Oh well - BU loses. Bradley i...

Re: UNI @ ISU 2/17

Good W MY was excellent. Glad to see some shots go down for WT and IG. I think with Phil and TB returning we have as good a chance as anyone to win 3 games in St Louis. Hopefully we continue moving the ball on Wednesday as we did in the second half yesterday. I agree with those who don't appreciate ...

Re: Reggie Lynch facing suspension

There is no therapy for this. He will not stop doing it until he's incarcerated or deceased. That's the only way it stops.

He's a sick, sick person. He will do this again. 100% guaranteed.
