Welcome Harouna

FYI---everyone in the Valley can dunk. Please get back on defense after you flush one. It'll help you stay on the floor in Division 1 basketball.

Re: John Beilein leaving Michigan

A Harbaugh vs Marshall fight would last about 6 seconds. As a rookie Jim Harbaugh punched HOF Dan Hampton in the face during a practice when he thought Hampton was late hitting him. Hampton stuck up for him hard core the rest of his career. Harbaugh is a weird dude but he's tougher than 10 day old b...

Re: John Beilein leaving Michigan

So you believe Yak is a stronger candidate than 3G? I will say that some of 3G antics were real bad this year and continues to chip away at his image. I would rather hire Yak than 3G if I were Michigan. 3G would not like being 2nd fiddle to football no matter how many games he won. compared to foot...

Re: John Beilein leaving Michigan

This is a very good job but i don't consider it elite. I think Yaklich is a strong candidate. I don't think lack of HC experience is a good reason not to hire someone. Izzo was never a HC either. Neither was Steve Fisher. Neither was Roy Williams there are many other examples. I think a lot of the ...

Re: Offered: Kolton Mitchell, 6’4” PG

One of the final 3 scholarships will be used on one of these two freshmen pgs. Not sure on the other two. I'd guess a sit-out transfer and then best available (juco or frosh). Maybe even 2 sit out guys. please not 2 sit out guys. Take both of these PGs. We've been long on sit out guys and sh...

Visited Western Michigan over the weekend. One thing that may be bad about getting a kid like this...he seems to have a handler. His AAU coach seems VERY involved with his recruitment.
Isn't that the case more often than not these days?

Re: 2019 Thomasville (GA) C Titus Wright

Really hoping this kid signs with the birds. It would be interesting to see what he could do after he gets in our weight program. If we could just beat out Western Michigan, Canicius, Alabama State, San Houston State, and Tennessee-Martin, we can get him. Unfortunately given the current state of ou...

Re: Jefferson Transferring

The inability for Muller and his staff to size up players' inability to perform at a high level before they offer scholarships has become a huge problem. They either aren't evaluating these kids correctly or are super arrogant about their own perceived ability to develop them on an exceptionally ra...

Re: Jefferson Transferring

He seemed like a solid kid and had a decent shot. He did not play defense though and you better have an offense like James Harden to make up for that. So, our defenders can’t shoot...and our shooters can’t defend. Sounds like a recipe for failure. Sounds about right. Dan can't teach the ones that p...

Re: D1 Transfers of Interest

I'd take a 15 point scorer who can handle the ball and has good experience in a heartbeat. Bishop was bright spot on Kangaroo roster. Watched UMKC as they hosted/throttled by New Mexico State. Tried very hard to do more with less (Aggies were good and Chris Jans has kept the Aggies rolling (would m...
