Re: Let's talk WR group ...

With proven depth lacking at WR it makes me wonder if we may see more 2 TE schemes. My apologies if someone already said that.

Re: QB Competition update

Feel bad for Jake. He’s invested 5 years in the program and by all accounts is a model student-athlete. This is his senior year. I’m sure he’s very disappointed. That said, the coaches know what’s best for the team and I trust them. As others have said, Beathard loves taking shots downfield and it s...

It's pretty clear to me. this should be the theme song for both the hoops and football team this year. No doubt about it.

Richardson still teaches there - he retired as HC at Rice a couple years back - Bobby Frasor (former N Carolina guard who won an NCAA Champtionship) is the HC at Rice now
Cool

Thank you.

Illinois State - Aug 24

Maybe this has already been talked about in a previous thread, but I was at the county fair last night and saw Matt Chastain and Taylor walking around. Taylor was in a Walking boot. Anyone know anything about what happened? Precautionary for a possible stress fracture. He should be good to go withi...

A-Train was the Bulls 7th round pick in the 1971 NBA draft. Big fan as a kid.
I loved A-Train. never understood that trade to the Spurs for Corzine. ugh. Artis had about 6 strong years down in Texas and the Bulls didn't get a real center until Cartwright.

Re: Broadnax to Safety

Interesting move. says a lot of Malachi as a team guy. Respect that a ton.

As for DB over WR.....might be just as simple as hands. Cam had exceptional, natural hands and maybe Malachi is not that way? just guessing.

the old saying is that DB's are DB's because they don't have the hands to play WR.

Re: Non-Con Schedule

good schedule opportunities for good W's. Need to run the table at home and at least split with Georgia/Clemson (if we play both). a road win at Belmont could be very nice in March. as has been pointed out this is a good schedule that will test the team before Valley play and it's far from embarrass...

Re: NON CON Schedule /Bradley WEAK! Year 4 (ssdd)

It is weak, hurts their program, and probably hurts the Valley. We did it for however many years under Jank. Obviously, we've changed it but low hanging fruit. Yes the overwhelming majority of this board relentlessly ripped Jank for it too. Cost us at-large in '08 and '09 for certain. The folks ove...

Re: NON CON Schedule /Bradley WEAK! Year 4 (ssdd)

the Bradley way rip all other schools for bad scheduling and then make excuse after excuse for their atrocious scheduling year after year under their weird coach. Thisis why i don't take them seriously as a program. glad we aren't paying $800k+ to Dan for a schedule like that. they should be totally...

Sweden lost. Elijah had 21. Leading scorer in the tournament http://www.fiba.basketball/europe/u20/2 ... b=boxscore

14th place.
He looked healthy. He played well. Presumably he gained back some much needed confidence.
