Re: Elijah Clarance-Swedish National Team

I'm hoping he stays healthy and plays as much as possible this summer for Sweden. He needs all the experience he can get.

If he can break out this year it makes us a completely different team.

I was reading Street and Smith in depth and St. Xavier is picked 5th nationally in NAIA. That's impressive and I expect a battle from them.
If that's true then we will likely not win a game in the MVFC

Has anyone tried to ask Spack or Lyons about the St X game?
I recall someone asking Lyons about it but he gave some answer like "Scheduling is hard and there were no games left."
I emailed him directly about the absurdity of this game and received zero reply.

Re: New assistant coach: Chris Duhon

Like the hire. Chris was an excellent college player and had a respectable career with the Bulls. Should be a good coach for the PG's.

Love that 2 of our 3 assistants came from huge programs and have tons of tourney experience as players. I think that helps.

Re: Street and Smith and Athlon

I’m gonna plant this here. https://athlonsports.com/college-football/projected-fcs-playoff-qualifiers-2018 Illinois State (at-large bid) The Redbirds may wind up lamenting a season-opening game against in-state NAIA member St. Xavier, which won't help their playoff resume. so frustrating. seriously...

Re: Is this the year?

100% agree. They do not seem to have a high BB IQ. That is what is needed to pull through when the shots are not falling or the ball is not bouncing your way or the calls are hurting you. Loyola obviously had that and played with great discipline. Maybe with almost all of the same players we will i...

Re: WOAH!

love that there will be more competition ... but if I had to guess, this might also free up Hatfield or Broadnax for a position change. Spack had originally planned on Hatfield moving into secondary. And I don't yet see Broadnax as full time QB .. but offseason may have been good for him and maybe ...

I saw it too.

Based on the previews for the season it appears Colton will be around for a while. He revealed to the gal that he's never been with a woman before. :|

Re: Davontae Harris

4 year deal worth 2.6 million for Davontae Anybody know how much, if any, is guaranteed? Hopefully that's not an issue, but he does have to make the team since NFL players don't start to be paid until game 1 of the actual season, unless that's changed recently. to the best of my knowledge only the ...

Re: Keith Fisher, Transfer San Jose State

Better to have too many players than not enough. Also better to have enough D1 quality players to better compete for championships. Welcome Keith! A 3* from south central LA. Sounds like a talented and tough young man. Plus all those good players to practice against each other. "Steel sharpens stee...

1,000 point scorers on the horizon: Key needs 332 points---if healthy he should pass 1,000 points. pretty impressive considering how many games he's missed including most of his freshman year. Phil needs 229 points---if healthy he will soar way past 1,000 in only 3 years MY needs 469 points---if hea...
