Not a former Redbird, but Aaron Jordan won't return to Illinois next season.
You sure? His Dad said he would begin his masters at UofI next winter.

I wonder if Kevin would ever consider coming back to isu
$500k/year is not enough for him at this point in his career
If he gets canned though, $500k >> $0K

Quite a large buyout to fire him. 10 MILLION Washingtons.

Re: @ Bradley

So maybe Dan Muller has intimate experience with how fleeting life is and that a job is a job and he should do what he can to help his assistants reach their life goals. You guys all of a sudden forget Torrey Ward? Maybe Dan is more willing to help these assistants because his friend, a great assis...

Re: @ Bradley

Regardless of whether we do or do not promote assistant coaches for purposes of future employment, we should consider the effects of how constantly changing coaches affects OUR program. It can't be good. Losing Yak to Michigan was good for them, but not for us. The same holds true for the half doze...

There is no therapy for this. He will not stop doing it until he's incarcerated or deceased. That's the only way it stops.

He's a sick, sick person. He will do this again. 100% guaranteed.

When did YAK become John Wooden? I guess I missed all those State Championships he won at Joliet West. I think he’s being overrated by some on here.
We tend to overrate two things on this board. The past and the future!

Dan Hurley article

Interesting read. More coaches ought to step back and ask themselves if they really pay attention to what they, themselves, do...and how they act. I think part of the profession thinks they have to act that way. Good on dHurley for waking up. Just a pet peeve, but loud non-stop chatterbox yelling co...

Re: @ Bradley

There's a huge difference between allowing an assistant to move up and actively helping him leave. If I had a good employee that wanted to go elsewhere that's up to him but I'm not going to help him leave. The profession involves head coaches actively helping their assistants to leave, at a loss to...

two comments 1. I turned game off after Tinsley missed his first 5 three point attempts and switched to women's figure skating. 2. The one thing I was thinking about after watching the end of the SIU game. There have been a lot of comments about being short handed the last couple games. How about what Barry has done with SIU?? They have been short handed all year and found a way to win. Sitting in second place. We have a littl...

I know some (crazzymark) people like to knock the gray hairs in attendance, but answer me this question; The average attendance for conference games at Redbird arena is 5,407 fans. What would the average attendance be if us so-called gray hairs stayed at home? Do you think that the college kids are...
