Re: Senior Day against Drake 2/24

Thanks for your hard work and excellent moderating, Quinn. I think it is a thankless job. I appreciate and respect your work. Other than the double standards, rampant hypocrisy, favoritism, and hidden agendas, I am inclined to agree. You've had many negative posts over the years, but this one is ju...

Re: Muller and Lyons

If you are referring to me, Rico. I know Larry Lyons. He knows me. I have worked with him on various projects over the years. A friend? No. What you say you know presents a flawed view of these issues. You seem to want to personalize this discussion. That happens when posters struggle to make their...

Re: vs Bradley, 7 pm, ESPN2

I don't want to see this year's team in the tourney....it would be embarrassing to see what an actual good team would do to us.

Re: Muller and Lyons

Muller is not a great coach, but he’s much better than some on here think. I’m not sure where or when it will all come together for him, but I do believe he will become an excellent coach. I hope it happens while he’s in Normal.

I have no issues with his criticisms and I have no issues with his compliments.

I find it refreshing.

Re: Winning on Sunday in the Lou

I imagine the year that we finally do break through and make it to the big dance, we will end up getting waxed by 40 or 50 points in the play in game in Dayton.

I will be pleasantly surprised if we keep this one close. As long as we're peaking come March 8th.

Re: Running Back U ... 2019 recruiting class ... MVFC, nothing to see here !!

I think Brown sees the field this year, and Nigel White is still a few years out.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Mueller to eventually become an all-conference safety (or possibly oversized DB) within a few years.

Re: BETTER

not sure this was entirely intended or not ... but clearly this class has a lot of skill players and smaller than usual. Recently, Spack has gone bigger at almost every position ... but this class bucks that trend. Might have realized he need more fast twitch guys to mix things up. As college footb...

Re: Roster changes

This has been as bad an offseason as Spack has had. It's easy to act like the fox with sour grapes....but we lost some good, talented players, including a potential star in Willie Edwards. Broadnax was also about as athletic and talented an athlete as we've had on the roster in the past 5 or 6 years...

Re: How many 4 year players under Muller

Outside of Evans, Paris Lee and Reggie Lynch when has a high school recruit of Muller's been a top 3 player on any Redbird team? And yet we've been top 3 in the MVC almost every year. The point is Dan finds the best talent wherever it is. Bradley has lot's of 4 year players, few of them are worth b...

How many 4 year players under Muller

This is year 7 under Muller, and looking back I'm curious as to just how few players came here as freshmen and graduated having played their entire college career here. I know there's been Wills and Lee...and this year we'll have Evans. But, is that it? I'm afraid that these inconsistencies and frus...

Re: Loyola Game - 9 PM Saturday

This team is starting to play the way many expected, and it's a great thing. Malik has shown great growth and maturation in the last few games. So much of our success is directly related to his mental and emotional game. I really hope he keeps it up, because if he does - we're going to be in good sh...

Re: at Drake, 1/30, 7:00 PM, ESPN+

Very nice win. The best I've seen this team look this year (I admittedly have not watched all the games). It was great to see the on-court communication and togetherness,, body language, pep in the players' step, etc.

Let's hope we can sustain it.

Isn't Liberty playing FBS in 2019? I know they are moving to FBS and thought the target season was 2019.
Good catch. They actually started this past year as an independent.

Laughing. Classic defense mechanism for the fragile ego. Sorry. i just think you are funny. My ego is healthy. thank you very much. Re: @Bradley 1/23

Bradley has always chosen to play us during the week. Their perspective is the game always sells well for them, anyway, so why use up a Saturday night for the rivalry game. When Saturdays traditionally do better for them regardless who they play. We get a lot of Chicago area fans who want to see th...
