Re: Game Times Announced

I don't mind noon games for the last game of the season (as it starts getting a little colder), but agree that 1 p.m. is much better.

Re: Abdou Ndiaye COMMITTED to ISU

Are you talking style of play or overall body of work? I'd be pretty disappointed if he ended up having a David like career riddled by injuries. But if you are referring to play styles Abdou is more of a stretch four which neither Jackie or David were. I think Abdou will need some time to develop, ...

I have really been looking forward to this trip for a long time. That said, now that we're expecting a visit from the stork this summer, things are up in the air. Only been to Colorado once, but had a great time.
Congrats!
Thanks Quinn

Re: Abdou Ndiaye COMMITTED to ISU

I'm excited about Abdou and think this is a great get....but if I had to bet, I would say his game and career at ISU will more closely resemble King David's than Jackie's. I'd say somewhere in the middle. Are you talking style of play or overall body of work? I'd be pretty disappointed if he ended ...

Galen Scott

Resigned at Va Tech. Sad news. I hope he bounces back. Wouldn't doubt his next job is FCS.

Re: Turf Updates

Prefer natural grass.....although expensive and likely not coming back for a long time. I hope the turf plays as safe as it can and we are not cutting corners in terms of making health and safety a priority. Along those lines, I wonder if they still use those little black rubber pellets when install...

Re: King David gone

I look at the Hein-Ndiaye package deal as a success based on a number of factors. First of all, they were both great student athletes and teammates who did things the right way. They were not be best players, but they were no where near the problem. You can win championships with guys like them on y...

Re: Cam Meredith

Most experts still expect Cam to be a Bear on the outside as the #2. He has stiky hands and a nice big frame. Gabriel isn't going to the outside any time soon and Robinson isn't going into the slot. As the article suggests, Meredith has incredible versatility and size. The Bears will probably match...

Re: Wichita Loses

I love the tweet for these reasons: 1. It was heartfelt. Dan feels that there is an unfair system in place and he's calling it out time and time again. In year's past, some of these coach's would say something about how their team got screwed, and move on. It never caught attention. They didn't wan...

Re: Welcome Josh Jefferson!

Look at the fans in the stands....especially after the 1:37 mark and going forward. It's apparent. People don't move their heads, hands, etc. at that speed. Still don't see it. What does the field say? How do you speed up the people in a video but not a clock? Just asking? It's not the entire video...

Re: Loyola

Loyola is class. During their first MVC tourney a couple years back, I had the pleasure to meet and hang out a bit with their A.D. and some of their fans. Just excellent people. Happy for Porter, too. I had Tennessee making it to the Final Four - so it kind of hurt my bracket, but I'll take it. Go R...
