Re: CSU game and TV

Can the alumni Association figure out which bar, if any, will have the game on in the Chicagoland area? Any watch parties?

Re: Redbirds - Rams predictions

Colorado state can be dangerous at home. They have a nice passing attack with Carter-Samuels and with their big receivers. There defense is not playing well, but they have some athletes on that side of the ball. I think the elevation, along with the high temps (it will probably be 100 degrees on the...

Yes confirmed Direct TV, ATSW 674, ATRM 683, ATRW 684. You have to purchase the sports package $ 15 a month.

Comcast does not offer channel.

Will there be watch parties?
Would most sports bars have this?

Any Chicago-area watch parties scheduled? Is it as simple as having it on Directv? Is it a given?

Re: Travel to Fort Collins, CO

Is this game available for viewing in IL for those who can't go to Colorado? It doesn't look like it is. The game is scheduled to air on AT&T Sportsnet, Rocky Mountain Region. In looking over the channel finder: https://rockymountain-attsn.att.com/channel-finder/ It seems every provider you choose ...

Re: Here we go again...

He might be a good kid, and he might be a good basketball player, but a university that allows people to still be on scholarship after making repeatedly bad (illegal) choices would be a slap in the face to all who make the right choices day in and day out. Somewhere out there, there are student athl...

Re: #25

Love Robinson, and he can do some things better than Coprich, but Coprich has some things on him as well. Robinson has more power, but isn't quite as shifty and doesn't have quite the top-end speed. Coprich hit the hole harder, but Robinson seems to allow plays to develop more/is patient. good syno...

Re: EIU game comments

Willie Edwards looks like a legit corner back. Not afraid to make a tackle. Got beat once, but not sure if that was his fault or if he was supposed to have safety help over the top. Agree. He looks really good. The defense impressed. Our linebackers are legit...quality and quantity (depth). Zachary...

Salukis @ Ole Miss

Up 31-28 with still time remaining in the 1st half. Both offenses are rolling.

Re: The 4 horsemen

If Birch is still a RB by his senior year, I’ll be surprised. If that kid can run routes and catch, they need to make him a receiver. Otherwise, perhaps defensive secondary.

Re: BEAT Eastern

Eastern Illinois showed solid run defense in its loss at Arkansas. They aren't likely to lose 5 fumbles again this week (yes, they turned it over 5 times via fumble in week 1). I think we'll be able to run a little, but I think we we'll need to be effective via the pass. I think that our defense wil...

Re: Redbirds at Illini 9/5/2020

Not sure who to give the credit to for scheduling the 3 games (Illini, Iowa, Wisconsin), but excellent job and THANK YOU! Along with Colorado State, Iowa (2015), Northwestern (2016), the non-con schedule has been really good and piques interest.

Re: GAME 1: Sept 1- St. Xavier 6:30 p.m.

I predict this game is much closer due to rain that slows our offense, and St. X having had a warm up game.

Therefore, Redbirds win, 54 - 0

That said, with Davis getting the nod at QB, I feel a little better about our chances of making the playoffs.

Re: Colorado State coach on medical leave

Watched much of the game last night. Hawaii’s Quarterback played great, and the Rams were susceptible to the qb’s scrambling, shuffle passes and general aytypical play calling. Colorado state may have played the worst game of the year in week one. I think they will be much better in the coming weeks...
