Been trying to find video of these games, to no avail. Anyone able to find any EC highlights?
The friendlies (exhibitions) were not on that YouTube site. I'm sure there will be game highlights after this weekend's contests.
I hope so. It would be nice to see how his game has progressed.

Man the pitchforks may come out if ISU just misses a playoff spot.
And if we make the playoffs while saving some $$$ by scheduling St. X at home, well then, BRAVO!

Although, I'd like to see us make some $$$ with some games on the road (much like @Colorado St, NIU, etc.)

Milik is not point guard.....but he is the person on the team that you want to have with the ball the vast majority of the time. Call it what it is...but he can create for himself and others. He isn't someone who plays well off the ball. He should have the ball in his hands most of the game and he ...

Re: Ticket renewals are out

This would intrigue me if I lived in town and knew I’d make all the games... http://x.paciolanmail.com/ats/msg.aspx?sg1=07471f02d17f876e60b9a44323ef1af2 I'm not sure. Paying more for a season ticket, just to have the opportunity to spend 8-10$ on a beer after tailgating for several hours before the...

Re: Let's talk WR group ...

Obviously I don't know nearly as much as the staff about the players, but I can't help but think that Jordan Birch needs to be given a shot as a receiving target. Otherwise, I'm wondering if linebacker is an option. I'm not sure of his mentality as a player, but I don't see him getting the snaps at ...

Re: WOAH!

We should beat these guys, but that’s why they play the game. I still remember the Redbirds trailing St. Francis of Kankakee with a few seconds left in 1990 or 1991. I think it took a long goal as time expired to stave off the upset. There’s also the OT thriller versus Central Missouri. You just nev...

Re: WOAH!

Assuming we go 2-1 in OOC to start season, our MVFC opener is on road against MoST ... yes we travel there again due to fact we can't play all 9 conf games ... but this the MUST win game that buys our defense 5 weeks to find itself and be ready for MVFC gauntlet that follows. Offense should be able...

Re: WOAH!

It's difficult to know how much of Kolbe's year last year is on him, how much is on the line, and how much is on the co-offensive coordinators. That said, I'd like to think that a great or even good quarterback can overcome some of those things. His less-than-stellar year was somewhere between disap...

Re: Is this the year?

I’ve been a Redbird fan since the Moser era. I’m sure some of the older guys/gals can point to other great teams, but could this be one of the best assembled Redbird rosters in a very long time? On paper it seems that way. We didn’t really have the defections we thought we might and we signed some ...

I don't mind noon games for the last game of the season (as it starts getting a little colder), but agree that 1 p.m. is much better.

Re: Abdou Ndiaye COMMITTED to ISU

Are you talking style of play or overall body of work? I'd be pretty disappointed if he ended up having a David like career riddled by injuries. But if you are referring to play styles Abdou is more of a stretch four which neither Jackie or David were. I think Abdou will need some time to develop, ...

I have really been looking forward to this trip for a long time. That said, now that we're expecting a visit from the stork this summer, things are up in the air. Only been to Colorado once, but had a great time.
Congrats!
Thanks Quinn

Re: Abdou Ndiaye COMMITTED to ISU

I'm excited about Abdou and think this is a great get....but if I had to bet, I would say his game and career at ISU will more closely resemble King David's than Jackie's. I'd say somewhere in the middle. Are you talking style of play or overall body of work? I'd be pretty disappointed if he ended ...
