Re: Abdou Ndiaye COMMITTED to ISU

There was something mightily wrong with the CGM Prep Academy. Kid was only there a semester so they couldn't have screwed him too badly. The only reason I can think of for not being in Normal is he's taking the one class the NCAA allows after graduation.

Re: Abdou Ndiaye COMMITTED to ISU

Can't believe this wasn't posted yet. Hold on to your butts. Dan says that Abdou isn't on campus yet as he works through eligibility issues but is "100 percent sure" he will be here by August. Oh boy. https://twitter.com/Pg_Benson/status/1008802917242032128 I'm not going to freak out or anything bu...

If the 'Birds have a good season he could end up recommitting.
How about "If Chris has a good season he could end up being a Redbird".

"As of right now, I cant say there is anything I am looking for other than style of play. If that system is going to fit me and make me a better player," Payton said. "And also, if the coaches are going to invest in me and make sure that Im the player that I need to be." ME ME ME ME I I I I How abou...

Re: WOAH!

Just perspective I guess but I would not consider that a classy move. If I was the other team I would be highly insulted. I think there is a difference between being inside the 20 with a minute left, running a play from scrimmage and taking a knee instead of trying to punch it in and breaking away ...

I'm not done yet. Anyone else remember when #1 Notre Dame lost to Carnage Melon? Knute took them for granted. Not sayin, just sayin.

Re: WOAH!

Yup. Plus, its a good football program. In saying that, we should slosh 'em and we'll all be pizzed if we don't. But if we come in with a sorry attitude, they could throw snake eyes and next thing ya know we miss the playoffs. Certainly not excited about playing them, but all those in red and white...

Re: WOAH!

There is no reason to "run it up". I think ISU gets a 5 TD lead and lays off the gas pedal. I'd be surprised if you didn't see 2 or 3 QB in the game, though, along with quite a few freshmen lined up by the 4th quarter. You should never "expect" 50+ points, much less a margin of victory of more than...

Re: VB to play Zero Non-Con Home Matches

They dropped the Redbird Classic which didn't draw very well. That looks like the only real change. I don't think they dropped it for good, just do it every other year. I'm guessing part of the reason is the huge decline in attendance we have had in VB. We were top 10 during the Morgan years and th...

I've heard that many people are saying it
You should start a new thread if you're going to reopen the "Some vs. Many" debate. Everyone's going to want to weigh in on that one.
Many people are saying that is true
Wrong again Hulka. Some are saying it.

Re: WOAH!

From the limited info available, I don’t see him head-and-shoulders over anyone we currently have (out of Kolbe, Brodnax, Hatfield, or Smith). I have all the confidence possible that Coach Beathard will correctly evaluate the talent and make the right decision. In Beathard I trust. That's a great c...

The CFL is looking at adding a franchise to get to 10 teams. There's a push to call them the schooners and use their logo.
I'd be a fan. Would their logo be an Onion ring, or a tenderloin the size of your head?
Catfish ;)
