I learned a long time ago not to take anything a high school kid does or says personally. He committed too early. He never went through the courting process. Hopefully it's us. We'll see.

Great thought but there's no way any of this would ever happen.

Re: Phil Fayne injury update

So my spidey senses have been on alert for a while now. Is it just me, or does anyone else think that one person in this thread (and others) is posting on multiple accounts? I'll leave it to y'all to figure out who, but it really shouldn't be too difficult. #sneakymofo https://media.giphy.com/media...

Go back to leather helmets and no face masks. That will solve all the problems of concussions and helmet to helmet contact. Seriously.
For sure. A helmet is a weapon.

On a positive, wintrust is a beautiful facility. I hope ISU and DePaul can get each other back on the schedule soon so the ‘Birds fans can invade the venue.
I would love to see ISU play Depaul on a Friday night and UIC on a Sunday afternoon. Great weekend in a great city.

Re: Evans update?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but both times he injured it wasn't due to contact with anybody. Just kind of gave out. So his knee is just weak and needs some rest. It wasn't like an unlucky event that injured him. He probably wasn't fully recovered when they brought him back the first time, and it kinda...

Re: GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY basketball

I know this post will probably ruffle some feathers on here (and be long), but IMO we can complain, e-mail, call, post as much as we want, but nothing is going to change with the current administration. I have a few reasons why I say that. I went back and found an article from 2013 with athletic de...

1-3 weeks seems optimistic and he won't be 100% for a couple months. There's damage to the bone. Let's be glad it's not worse cause it could have been. They do an MRI to rule out a fracture. The only real treatment is RICE.

Birds gotta step up tonight. Espn 2, so this is the time to execute in front of a national audience. Don’t embarrass the program.
I have the distinct feeling viewership won’t be particularly high.
