Re: ** SIGNED ** 2018 - Abdou Ndiaye, 6-9/200, PF The Nation Christian Academy

I will be delighted when this young man's paperwork is approved by the NCAA. Does anyone have concerns on this? I saw it as a red flag but maybe I've just seen this type of thing go south before - anyway, anxious to get everything straightened out so AN can come to campus. I always worry about clea...

2 young kids at home. Thank god he's OK.
Noblesville is a very nice area. How the fuck does a 14 year old get a hold of 2 guns?

When calculating my total donation do I include the cost of tickets for Quincy and Charleston Southern or not?
You should get a double credit.

Re: Arch Madness No Longer at Scottrade Center

Other than the Machine Shed, why would anyone want to go to the Quad Cities? It is hard enough as it is for MVC teams to recruit against the P5s but having the MVC tourney in the Quad Cities would make it even harder. "Hey recruit come play at ISU and then have a chance to play in the Quad Cities v...

Re: Zenger out at Kansas

D1 is the pinnacle for most. It pays the best. But if you're looking for day to day I love my life.....I'll take a lower level thank you.

He must have been pretty good, Timmy. They named the fieldhouse after him :)
It's named after that Horton? Wow. Pretty good for a D2 AD.

Re: WIU Enrollment Woes

I'm guessing WIU is losing a lot of kids to Iowa and Minnesota. I really don't know that there is a cure for that.
Macomb and Carbondale are nice enough places but you just can't get there from here.

Re: Zenger out at Kansas

Yeah, RedbirdSoxFan, eventually you are bound to get "run out" of somewhere if your career is long enough. Certainly Rick Greenspan's was. I am still trying to figure how somebody, anybody can be soooo bad to be "run out" of someplace to an even bigger program? And then still get a big program job ...

Re: Arch Madness No Longer at Scottrade Center

Chicago? Wintrust I think Chicago would draw better. I get your preference but I don't golf. IMO Chicago has a lot more to offer than St. Louis in any weather. Not a fan of Navy Pier. Tourist trap. Not big on shopping but I do like walking around Wicker Park and West Division. Not a big theatre guy ...

Perk is happy at Ferris. D1 shouldn't be a used measure of success or failure.

Re: Arch Madness No Longer at Scottrade Center

OK, so it was a bad idea... How did everybody who went down there feel about the crowds? They had the upper bowl screened off, and most times the lower bowl seemed barely half full. Kinda of disappointing turnout I thought. I do like St. Louis over having it in Chicago. Moline? WTF I would prefer I...

Re: Offseason Wish List

I really don't want Horton to go. It's valuable space and when you give space away you rarely get it back. Just needs to be better taken care of. . I've been in many amazing new practice facilities. I can't think of a single school that then tore down an existing Fieldhouse. And the bleachers on th...

Illinois State will not ever achieve greatness until the name Lyons is gone from every level of the athletic department.
Well considering the ONLY Lyons left is Larry....
That's news worthy. Is that new?
Last I heard we were down to 2.

Re: Arch Madness No Longer at Scottrade Center

The naming rights to the building were sold. There will be an announcement Monday at 10 a.m. to introduce the building's new name. I was excited that it might be moving out of St. Louis. It might be better in Moline...in a smaller arena, cheaper hotels, etc. Heck, I'd be okay with them just rotatin...

Re: Eight-Man Rotation?

Abdou looks like a kid with a ton of talent, but it's pretty apparent that talent is raw. Let's give him a break and not have unrealistic expectations before his first practice.. Clarence and Bruninga last year. Abdou and Rey this year.
Does anyone remember Key as a freshman? Probably not.

Re: Muller Math

I would believe what the coach said. There's really no reason to lie. Kids talk. Lie's get out. And how would Dan telling the full truth in this scenario benefit him or the program?? Come on now. I don’t have any issue celebrating the situation, but let’s not be naive. He was asked or encouraged to...

Hancock 2.0 .. east side New Turf IPF Hancock 3.0 .. south end zone Hancock 4.0 .. west side with Horton tear down Hancock 5.0 .. north end zone...
