well, we still have Moose McLain coaching the offensive side of the ball.
And RB Coach Conard ?
was told that Conard is leaving, not sure why.

Welcome aboard, Gabriel Joshua Megginson!

Look's like a goof ball - my kind of guy.
Gabriel Joshua could be a fine board contributor when his playing days are over.

After watching the NDSU game I'd say our receivers need more work catching the ball outside in cold weather.

Re: Interesting MVFC Coach Rumor

:P Not to worry. Coach Nielson just called a meeting of his USD players to tell them that he is not moving. :P The thing that coaches always tell their players at a team meeting while the moving van is at their house, right? The laughing emoticons gave it away. Continuation of the WIU thread :P

I get your "taj mahal" point and might have agreed up until 2 months ago when ISU published this video with AD Lyon's talking about the fund raising progress and infrastructure plans. he made it sound like it is not too far away. So I see no reason to settle for a bubble. http://www.weisbeckerschol...

Re: OL Megginson tranferring in from Illinois

Think we are in very good shape for OL in comparison to this past fall. Only real concern is we need to find a center who can block and snap in shotgun. Helt had to play a hurt at Center because we didn't have a guy ready to step up. YES, injuries at C had a big impact. Helt was a warrior. He did a...

Re: D-Line hole

Trey Georgie? He was a good DE in high school, and has added size. I would love to get some power on the d-line. I felt like the line really got pushed around by teams with big o-lines. Would have been nice to line Keene up at DE more on running downs. Georgie was my 2nd choice. We'll see what happ...

. You missed Keoshian as a recent successful convert. Don't often see a RB/HB turn into DT.
I left that out in consideration to you. You wanted Keoshian moved to LB'er. I wanted him moved to DT ;)

I'll give credit where due. You were the first to recognize that he needed to move at all.

D-Line hole

We're going to have to fill the gaping hole in the middle of the D-line with D-tackles Dalton Keene (huge loss) Matt McCown and Blake Hooper all departing. Options Promote - from the current group, Galindo, Powell, Podkulski and Ben-Israel. I think Galindo, Podkulski will need more time. Powell migh...

Re: Beathard back as OC

In fairness, fourth, we should have been a playoff team. They just didn't do what they should have on the field to take care of their end of the deal. completely agree .. even with OC Dicken, this team should have been 7-4 minimum and made playoffs. But with Beathard, I completely believe our offen...

Dump all the $ into MBB. :text-+1: Fans often wonder why we are where we are in football (FCS level). We're there for a reason and all we have to do is look to ourselves. We're NOT all moving in the same direction. The athletic dept. is in charge of herding cats. We all want different things
