Re: At Indiana State 1/20/18

I think WT can and will play a lot better. He just looks like a D1 player when he's out there. If there's one player that has a lot of untapped potential it's him. The fact that he usually shoots well in practice means it just a mental thing. His form looks good to me when he shoots, it just doesn'...

Re: Muller's Talent Strategy

The valley (an mid majors in general) is a guard league. Last year we had 2 seniors, one of which this forum would have ridden out of town after sophomore year. Our current guards are inexperienced, injured, and ineligible. Nuff said. :text-+1: HCDM prefers leftists he prefers 6' 7-8" long and lean...

Seems impossible to predict a game between two completely unpredictable teams. I'm just gonna enjoy the game and hope for the best.

Re: At Indiana State 1/20/18

I love how everyone calls people “jerks” or obscenities because they have a difference of opinion! I love how one person says something and everyone gets blamed If you could count...it’s been more than one. I can't count. Lernin was never my strong suit. And even if I could i wouldn't bother...

Re: At Indiana State 1/20/18

What I need is for Chi-Bird, ChiRedbirdfan, and Chicagobirdfan to make a clearer distinction between yourselves, or change your screen names, because one or more of you is a jerk, and one or more of you makes some sense, but I never remember which one from thread to thread!!! For the record, ...

Re: At Indiana State 1/20/18

A lot of underachieving going on. Looked good on video and paper. I’m frankly surprised by Clarance and Tinsley. I’m guessing Dan is too. Screw patience. Fayne, Milik, and Key will be gone while we wait for this development process to play out. Freshmen and newcomers need to contribute on NCAA team...

Re: At Indiana State 1/20/18

Gassman, Hein and Tinsley have no business possessing a Division I Basketball Scholarship. I question Dan giving one to Gassman. Especially when he already took Hein in the package deal. That’s two busts Dan knowingly put into his guard positions. Those rides are precious. Can’t keep wasting them. ...

Re: At Indiana State 1/20/18

No Beef House on the way home! Some guys need to decide if they enjoy being taken to the wood shed. Talk is cheap. At least the managers showed up for their game. I think the issue was they stopped at the Beer House on the way to the game and ate too much. Entire team looked to be running underwate...

Sugar Bear is a more appropriate nickname.

He was a big fan of the MSU dance liners back in is Valley days, if you know what I mean.
In fairness who doesn't love the Sugar Bears?

Re: At Indiana State 1/20/18

Potentially the first game with a fully available roster. Takes a while to get the new guys in the mix, but the primary 2 who were out are getting into the flow.

Re: Gargoyles @ Redbirds 1-17-18 6 p.m.

I like Hein v2017/8. Do I want him to be the guy getting the most minutes? No Do I cringe when he takes the floor? No Does he provide worth to the team? Yes Do other players have shortcomings? Yes to all Have Hein's shortcomings cost us any games ? None I can point directly to Have other, more heral...

Re: Redbird Arena Renovation

Padded seats  A maintenance guy told me postgame that each padded logo chair for the players and coaches costs $250+. Probably best to maximize our glutes and pad our inner chair. On that note: Spitfire in STL again this year, Hulka? I promise I'll try not to dump my Skee all over your ribs a...

Re: The valley

Most teams will play final week still trying to escape Thursday. Generally, other than the top 2 and bottom 2, that can be said every year. Last year was by far the earliest we've know there would be no Thursday game in quite some time. But this year is slightly more clogged than in the past 5 or s...

The universe is nearly Normalized. Beat them in Peoria and we're back to .500 all time in the rivalry.
Eliminate the games where both teams were not D1 and the numbers sway in our favor heavily.
