Re: Athletes no longer have to ask permission to transfer

This would be the bigger earth shaker More transfer rule changes may or may not be coming. The most commonly discussed: a move away from the requirement that most transfers sit out a season before being eligible to play at their new school. There’s been some talk about letting players who meet a GPA...

He's the only element from preventing the program from having a near perfect spring and yes, I think he needs to play and get his feet wet. I'm no fan of the redshirt route unless it's medical. I want him ready and b a consistent contributor by year 2. Redshirt ='s 3 years and transfer. :text-+1: f...

Re: Ole Miss

Cal is horrible. Not even worth it. I'd rather play Fresno State. A buy game with Stanford would be ideal. I agree but its no different than playing Ole Miss or, DePaul with the bad teams in Power Conferences. Strangely though, wins against those teams are resume builders for their conference mates...

You should start a new thread if you're going to reopen the "Some vs. Many" debate. Everyone's going to want to weigh in on that one.

:text-+1: I feel a new retro TV series coming on that explores all the fun and hijinks we had back in '07. My character would be played by Denzel Washington or Steve Buscimi.........it's a toss-up. The Rock or Mean Gene Okurlund https://ringthedamnbell.files.wordpress.com/2018/01/geneo1.gif

Re: Zenger out at Kansas

I'm not one to make excuses but that there were a lot of things working against that tourney jbird. 1. We were coming off the Porter Moser years. The last of 2 were a combined 24-35 and 10-16 in the conf, 10th place followed by 8th place. This was Jank's 3rd and 4th games at ISU. 2. That tourney wa...

Re: Zenger out at Kansas

Porter Moser is having a GREAT year True and if he had been great here he wouldn't have been fired. I take it your point is that a good leader should be able to look at more than just past and current results and be able to judge coaching qualities that project well for the future. If that's how th...

It was really just a matter of time. He's a nice guy, but he spent a lot more time talking about what he was going to accomplish, than accomplishing it.
What's an AD supposed to do at that point? Pull the money out of his ass?

14. Litwiller (if he's still on the team. He needs to redshirt)

Umm why would our walk-on redshirt? He was an emergency add last season and has no chance of earning a scholarship. Not sure what redshirting gets him
A year to play somewhere where he can get a ship

I'd say the 8 man rotation will probably change by opponent. If we need more guards, then the rotation will include Elijah, Hein, etc. If we need more bigs then Idowu, Abdou, Bruninga will get more time.
