Yarbrough did his Dad proud
In front of his Dad’s old teammates! Dream game for him! Couldn’t be happier for that kid. He’s come a long way!
Slightly uninspired first half. Maybe his mom gave a halftime pep talk. He was a beast in the second half.

Re: @ Bradley

When did YAK become John Wooden? I guess I missed all those State Championships he won at Joliet West. I think he’s being overrated by some on here. Anyone with an ISU pedigree generally is here. Even though coaches with an ISU connection compromise about .5% of coaches they generally compromise 50...

Re: YAK went after the Michigan job, peeps...

Yak was going after it regardless . Knowing that...KNOWING THAT as a coach, wouldn't you make the call knowing your coach was applying?? I think it's safe to say that Muller's call triggered the interest. I'm gonna leave it at that. Right thing to do, 100 times out of 100. I applaud Dan for doing i...

Also the only one on that staff that has been here the entire time is Dan. The others: - Reese 2nd yr - Collins 1st yr - Mullins 1st yr I know no one wants to hear it but between coaching and player turn over this is a new team put together between April and August of last year. It just is. You do ...

Re: @ Bradley

David can't stay healthy because he can't get his body in the physical shape needed to play. David’s injuries have been stress fractures. They have nothing to do with the physical shape he is. A good # of stress fractures actually come from overuse. 3 years, 3 half seasons lost to stress fractures....

Re: @ Bradley

--I think our offensive scheme is atrocious, especially for the kind of guys that we recruit. It underutilizes our athleticism, and values shooting 3s and bad shots. We need more dribble penetration and motion off the ball to get guys open. It has also seems to have taught our guys that moving with...

Re: @ Bradley

We are playing MY and Tinsley at the post against Bar and Childs. It just isn't a good matchup but there isn't much you can do if you have one true post player for this game. which is why Romine being cleared to play yet not out there is mind boggling Either a talent or effort issue, or both. Are y...

Re: vs SIU 2/8

Didn’t he go nuts at the end of the first game? When SIU was down and he helped them back, scoring most of his pts in the 2nd half? My main point was we caught a break. Some 6 exchanges later, I’m gonna stick with that POV. Of course we caught a break. That's the only way we can win games right V-b...

I was not at the chicago state game but the beer riot was one of a kind. The nation guard was called into Normal. Police in full riot gear was a sight to see. I recall seeing a student run out of Watterson with a gas mask. Who has a gas mask in their dorm room?

Re: vs SIU 2/8

Early in the game, and thus early in this thread, Hein was supposedly a bum for airballing a shot. Later in the thread, he gets no credit for nailing a clutch "3" because he was wide open. I saw other players from both teams MISS open shots from beyond the arc, so no poster should suggest that Hein...

Bruninga, The trash man Tinsley and Clarence carried us tonight. All the role players stepped up in a big way. Huge win at home against a depleted siu team
SIU dressed 10, played 9, they are migrating back to undepleted, while we are migrating back to depleted
